A great modern sounding synth, but the high CPU spikes and font size are a bit disappointing. I don't understand what they were thinking?!?!? Do you have to have like a 42" monitor or what? I have a 23" 1080P screen which is a decent size and it's still way too small IMO. It's a headache if your programming away for a while. If they wanted to keep the size of this GUI the same, they could have at least reduced the size of the keyboard keys. Those keys take up a 1/3 of the GUI surface. Shrink those damn keys and enlarge everything else, or just eliminate those keys! Those keys serve no real purpose, other than just art.

I agree that the gui is not right. I couldn't even see half of the text and the keyboard looks great but is completely unnecessary.

I personally didn't like the sound either. It sounds very digital/bright/hollow.
Maybe that is how the SH101 sounded? But I can't imagine it did.

Also, I wish preset designers would listen to their presets in headphones. The amount of reverb on everything is ridiculous.

Sorry to be negative but there are a few things I like; if the GUI was bigger it would look great. The unison/spread sounded phat and the envelopes sounded plucky but overall not the deep/warm analogue sound I was expecting. :(

I'm really confused about the feedback in this topic....

Ok Lush has no Ringmod, so hmm would you prefer it, if Lush has Ringmod, and only 1 layer and NO additional FX? For 149€? Than all the negative coments would turn into a "Yeah"? Really?

Comparision with TAL - well did't works for me, because TAL is TAL, and Lush is Lush. Nothing against TAL, but i think the D16 guys, are genius on DSP coding, so i'm very sure, they can and has created a highly accurate emulation of the Sh-101. And based on the 2 demos of Ingonator - i think both were very different. So for me personally out of the topic in the case of comparision. The only counting comparision would be dry Lush-101 with SH Filter + Env + Trigger Mode on against a SH-101.

Anyway, instead of 1 Layer with Ringmod you get 8 Layers! 8 SH101 in 1! With complete and great mixer matrix. Addtional FX. Awesome quality - the dry facts are i guess pretty clear saying "it's much more as a synth who re-creates the SH101 sound" and than coming up so many negativ coments? :nutter:

The only thing to be not happy about is of course the CPU usage. But this is the price for awesome sound!
D-CAM Synthsquad - also eats good CPU
DIVA - eats a lot of CPU
Lush-101 - well sometimes it eats maybe more CPU as DIVA (BUT than there are running 8 Synths in this 1 Lush synth!)

So on the CPU topic, this should be clear in front, that there are working up to 8 synths at once. By direct comparision of just 1 layer + master fx i think the cpu level is ok - for the benchmark league(in the same also DIVA and D-CAM are).

Btw about the pricing issue (because for many people EVERYTHING is too expensive...)

Native Instruments Razor - sounds superb, cost 69€ but eat's the same CPU amount as Lush-101 and well.... if you you buy it for 69€, you can't save your presets as preset. For the option to save your sounds you need Reaktor or Komplete, so hm 379 oder 479€ additional euros.

Sometimes i getting sick of all the price moaning. Sylenth1 cost more, and can less for less quality, but all have it - mysterious!

And Apple stuff is never expensive(also if it cost ~50% as similar products) but all buy it, bceause ot's Apple...

Horrible times for products with a fair and good value for money amount in great quality... :?

It's because rich people are hogging all the money while millions starve and have to cut down on VST consumption :x

I don't need my 10% discount :D

I just mentioned the Ringmod and the FM/Crossmod as the synth was praised as "The only synth you'll ever need" which with a lack of those two is just not correct.
They managed to do Osc Sync in LuSH-101 so doing that would have been maybe possible too.

About the layers:
I have already done that with TAL U-NO-LX inside Mutools MUX. Including FXs and a detune knob for the second layer:

A "killer feature" in LuSH-101 would have been to have interactions between the layers like e.g. using a third envelope from layer 2 for modulation in layer 1 or doing Osc Sync of layer 1 and layer 2 or combining the filters of layer 1 and layer 2.

I like the idea behind this plugin, but Im not going to be jumping on board this one. I like D16 stuff so I'll probably end up buying it at some point, but not now.

I already own a bunch of VA plugins that can cover most of the sounds that LuSH can do.

Nice plugin though.

Exactly my thought. Nice plugin but nothing i really need. Maybe i'll change my mind sometimes in the future after they have done an update to e.g. the GUI and CPU use.

Well i can also take DIVA or Strobe, create instead of one instrument track in my DAW 8 tracks! But if i hit than only one note on all 8 Strobe's or DIVAs, my CPU will breakdown. Same as on Lush maybe, so what's the point?

Is now multi-trimble "bad"? Because you can logical do it with more work and time effort via DAW....?

It looks sometimes like bad/down-talking Lush. Specially the constant reference to TAL.

The fact is, Lush is the atm best possible and available emulation of the SH-101, but loaded with a bunch of extras and bundled to 8 in 1. That's it, point, over and out. 8)

Yes, what's up with the ginormous keyboard? And this is supposed to be a professional product by professional coders/GUI designers? Oh, come on...
