A year ago I bought a full version of Avenger and now I should upgrade to version 2.0 so I can buy new music banks, which unfortunately work only for the new version of Avenger. I consider this to be a fraudulent behavior on users. I will write a complaint at the European Consumer Center, because I will not pay another 100 euros just to buy other music banks. All it's a fraud from the Vengeance Sound team

im sure you can use Version 1 still of course for new music packs which use the new functions etc. of Avenger 2 it wont be possible. first post from new user

is there anyone here who bought it from pluginboutique and has already received a serial number? unfortunately i have not yet received a serial number (and have written to pluginboutique support).... I won't be buying there next time...

That's what happens when about 4 mio. people want to buy Avenger 2 at the same time haha it's obviously a big success. Congrats!!!

I guess if you are into Techno and other similar genres then this is ok but my curiosity has waned after watching.

dont forget its a synth after all, not a preset machine You can build whatever genre you like. And there are nearly as much non-EDM expansions as EDM (Cinematic, Generate, Atmospherica etc)
Furthermore Bartek shows only a small part of the 250 presets. There should be something for everyone.

Yeah! Of course, but I find the expansions really expensive which minimizes the appeal. I also don’t find 250 presets that overwhelming considering the competition.

One of the things I never understood and it happens with 2 as well is that in presets the Fav state is not stored globally..
That is when I open a new instance of Avenger and go to presets, I have to click FAV to see which of the presets I had previously favourited.

Odd choice I find.

Can any early adopters tell me whether or not Avenger 2 crashes Komplete Kontrol when you play an ARP patch?

Months and months ago Kellwerth said they’d be doing a hotfix to Avenger to fix that issue, and it looks now like they released version 2.0 instead.

All new music banks are already created only for Avenger 2, so the user is pushed to have to buy new software for which he has already paid. If you don't understand what I want to say, you're stiff. And yes, I'm new here because I'm looking for information on the Internet and similarly dissatisfied users to write a lawsuit. This is not a standard procedure and it is the same as if the old version of Windows could not open new programs and the user had to buy a new version of the operating system every time.

Let me check on this.. I completely forgot about it and had reported it to NI over a year ago.


The good news is that it doesn't crash any more yeah.
However the caveat is I am testing it on a version of KK not released to the public as yet.

How can I buy the update from version 1 to version 2? It says on the page "check your Avenger account for upgrade option". But I can't find an option to buy the update in my account.

It is expected that the new packs use the features of the latest version. So what is your suggestion? They keep releasing expansions for older version or not use any of the new features when doing an expansion? Or get the update for free?

Clearly you bought the cheap standard version.

The Deluxe version that I bought sure has it....

ps that was meant as a joke, there is no standard or deluxe version...but yeah mine has it, on both mac and pc..

You need to download the Factory 2 bank. I had the same problem.

You need to download the Factory 2 bank. I had the same problem.

I have Factory Content 2 installed, but there's nothing showing up in those new effects. Are there FX presets that need a separate download somewhere?
