You know you just have to watch these things Sandboxie is great to run things you're unsure of. Many years ago, I downloaded something that claimed it was an Access Virus emulation. It was a regular .dll and I was stoked to try it. I put it in my VST instrument folder and when I tried to pull it up, just a skinless thing that made no noise came up. I then discovered that this innocent looking .dll somehow began deleting all my other instrument .dll's slowly and I couldn't stop it, even after deleting it.
Trust me - Sandboxie. Best free app ever!

from completion ( or two..), unbelievaeble.. thing started
eating away at exes, and i couldnt even write a backup disc.
as you know, i spent like 3 days for killing the last one i got, few weeks ago...it took ages to find the time to work on it too, as i was pretty spending my hours of the day either working or eating/sleeping (the few ones left) for days and days...the bastard erased like 4000 files, including all the main exes and dlls of the windows folder in just few hours
got the name of the f**er at the end?
mine was called w32vitro and actually it was a rootkit kind of virus, and it seems that after a couple of years from its "launch", lately there's has been a sort of refueled infection around the web, as far as i could read in past days researches
