People are talking about the beta right now. I was hoping to release the full/demo version today, but one of the beta testers found a nasty bug with very short DECAY settings in conjunction with high settings of Late Low Mult. So I am preparing version 1.0.6, beta 4, and will be sending it to beta testers soon.bM3w wrote:Are you all got hands on the beta or is it already released?
I hope to get the full version out tomorrow. I just want to ensure that all of the latest changes are migrated to all versions of the plugin before doing a full build for release.

I just installed the Valhallaroom demo and have been testing for about an hour or so. Why would
I need any other reverb? This thing is insane!

Just click on the "MIX" label above the slider to lock the mix function.standalone wrote:errrr....themossinator wrote:Any plans for a "Wet lock" button? Kinda annoying the way the plugin goes 100% wet every time you change the preset
valhallasound wrote:
The red MIX label above the Mix slider is the Mix Lock button, which is used for determining whether presets change the mix level (unlocked) or whether the mix level stays the same regardless of the preset (locked). When the Mix slider is "locked" the user can still adjust the level by moving the slider or typing in a new value.

It is, in a word, Perfecto to the Mundo! (I guess that's more than a word)valhallasound wrote:Someone proposed this behavior in this thread, as opposed to the actual locking mix slider. It made a lot of sense to me. The user can still adjust the mix level, but the presets won't adjust the mix.standalone wrote:That's the intended behaviormgpqa1 wrote:Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the lock button has no effect on my setup (even when it's grey, I'm able to drag the slider up and down with the mix being affected).
It's there to keep the mix level as desired when you are changing presets, but you can modify it without the need of unlocking-changing mix level-locking again.valhallasound wrote:When the Mix slider is "locked" the user can still adjust the level by moving the slider or typing in a new value.

Well, I'll have an updated demo of ValhallaRoom posted in about 20 minutes. So you may need that.Integratron wrote:I just installed the Valhallaroom demo and have been testing for about an hour or so. Why wouldI need any other reverb? This thing is insane!

ValhallaRoom version 1.0.6 is now available for demoing/purchasing:
http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallaroom
The big new feature of this release is the Dark Room reverb mode, which adds some noisy, dark, lushly chorused vintage mojo to ValhallaRoom. I've put up a blog post about Dark Room:
http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com/2011/0 ... dark-room/
I've sent links out to all existing ValhallaRoom customers. If you haven't received your link, send me an email or PM, and I'll get the download links out to you.
Again, thank you to everyone who has bought ValhallaRoom so far. It is a great privilege to be able to make a living working on something that you love, and your support has allowed me to do this. Dark Room is my way of saying thanks.

Not to complicate things but would it make sense to have a save button so that the user could save their tweaks?

...aaaannnnnddd the Windows version has already been updated to 1.0.6.2. Turns out that there was a denormalization issue with my downsampling filters in the Windows plugins. So I fixed that.
You can download the new demos at

Man, release days are kinda hectic.
