This is a joke right? By all means get her a synth, but a DX7??
There must be better preset machines out there. One of the refaces for example.
:smack:
Actually no that wasn't a joke. I genuinely thought you wanted to get her a synth, I forgot she was only 2.5 weeks old

I'm going to go against the grain here and say I hope it doesn't get used and instead hope it sits behind a glass door for the rest of eternity. Things like this should be preserved.

Which Behringer synths did you decide to sell? I'm curious which models people prefer, and why.
DeepMind 12D. I really like the sound of it, but the UI is a bit of a pain in the butt. Slow display and lots of menu diving. MS-1 - also like the sound of it. But I cannot deal with the three positions of transposition of the keyboard.

Was really considering the DeepMind12 but this is totally bummed me out for getting it.

I've had a demo of the Prophet REV-2 16-voice and I'm pretty sold on it. Might not sound "vintage" but it sounds plenty better than many of the best analog modelling VSTs I've played with.

Well I got the ELZ_1, it's pretty neat, the small keys are surprisingly playable. :tu: I would prefer
silicon, though the plastic keys are sturdy enough. The rest of the thing is well built with 2mm thick steel.
So far seems an excellent example of a portable compact digital synth.
