Having a scroll bar would definitely improve, but also you can show different section groups by using the 3 icons in the upper right part of the GUI.

Yes but without the mouse wheel you can only switch between 3 of the 4 available sections, which is why I didn't see the arp one in the first place

Is that Korg Collection 4 post on gearspace a joke? If true, the Trinity is cool and all, but there are more interesting vintage units they could have done.

Yeah, it's fake. For one, the fonts don't match. For two, Korg has never announced what the next volume will be. Third, it's too soon after the last release. Also, and here's where your observation comes in, there are more deserving candidates than those to be released in plugin format.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

I haven't seen it, but if it is the same that was posted here until a few hours ago, it's 100% wishful thinking with a clickbait title.Danno wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:05 pm Is that Korg Collection 4 post on gearspace a joke? He's been doing this for ages, at least the last year or more, spamming various forums with what he thinks is something really clever that no one else has thought of. First he was obsessed with sample libraries, then with samplers, then with plugins of not-yet-emulated hardware, posting things as if they were some kind of cheap official press-release or something...vulpes777 wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:26 pmI haven't seen it, but if it is the same that was posted here until a few hours ago, it's 100% wishful thinking with a clickbait title.
A very strange individual...

Well I'd disagree. DSS-1 has the best filter Korg ever had and is a characterful sampler (an extension of the great DW-8000 which had fixed waveforms, same filter tho), and Trinity sounds way better than Triton, so...Watchful wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:26 pm Yeah, it's fake. ED, you know I'm going to say the DW-8000 plugin needs to arrive before the DSS-1!
I think the Trinity is a good idea. I do agree the DSS-1 is a monster (even though 12-bit), but not sure how Korg would be able to handle/include the thousands of samples that are out there for it, the way they did for the other digital synths. I mean, yeah, they'd draw the line somewhere, but taking on the DSS-1 would be a major endeavor.
The DS-8 should be an easy one to knock off, though.

There are also buttons (rectangles of different sizes) in the top right corner that let you switch between three "sizes". The left one shows the main module without keys. The middle (default) shows the module and keyboard. The right one shows everything. As you noted, when you're in the smaller two sizes, you can always scroll up to see the addon panel.Ivan_C wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 2:59 pm Oh I've found it, you need to use the mousewheel anywhere on the UI and so you can display the ARP section on the top. This is the most stupid UX thing I have ever seen in a plug-in during my whole life![]()

I reported that immediately, and it's already gone. It was the first post by a new account, and a pretty low quality hoax. Korg never announces these things in advance, wouldn't have a new version ready so soon after this one, and isn't comically bad at graphic design.Danno wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:05 pm Is that Korg Collection 4 post on gearspace a joke? The only way to install them is one by one, so yes, you can just install the ones you want.nordickvr wrote: Sun Sep 05, 2021 11:39 am Q for the Korg Collection 3 owners.
Will the installer let you install just some synths or force you to install them all (à la IK)?

About IK: I have separate downloads for Total Studio Max 2 (ST3, Miroslav 2, T-RackS, etc.), but I just wish the downloads for the sounds didn't expire after a period of time.nordickvr wrote: Sun Sep 05, 2021 11:39 am Q for the Korg Collection 3 owners.

Agreed, the Trinity sounds so much better than the Triton, IMO. Also, many of the DSS-1 samples ended up in the M1. So, how about adding the DSS-1 filter as an optional filter type to the M1 plugin?Watchful wrote: Wed Sep 01, 2021 6:40 pm ED, you know I'm going to say the DW-8000 plugin needs to arrive before the DSS-1!
