No. He's talking about loading presets then add presets in remaining slots. However he did not take in account that a preset may use 8 arps (or other maxed-out modulator) with just one osc, and adding a new preset which uses a maxed-out modulator would conflict with the existing preset. People keep confusing OSC page with a full layer, which is not the case here. And then, even if trying to merge presets by just importing the OSC area, agin he misses the fact that 2 presets may amount for over 8 osc's so It will conflict. If such option is implemented I only can imagine the frustration of having error messages "unable to add preset, osc/arp/lfo/filter/FX1/sendrack/masterfx slots full"Hanz Meyzer wrote:Isn't that already possible with copy-paste of OSCs?DigiPRO wrote:Anyone?DigiPRO wrote:Feature suggestion.![]()
If I have 2 or more patches which I like and want to "merge" them into one patch. Then a "slot lock" could be activated so that next loaded patch only loads into next available free slot.
Possible?
I have such feature on a drum machine I'm using frequently, maybe it is possible to apply for Avenger as well?. But of course, it has a very complex architecture, but maybe a developer can find a way to achieve that.
Cheers.

Yes, I'm aware of the Avenger structure, therefore I was asking what would be the best way of freely move/copy oscillator slots between the patches. Of course, the destination patch needs to have a slot or OSC free.sircuit wrote:No. He's talking about loading presets then add presets in remaining slots. I'd like to know when will there be an update for the demo (still 1.2.2) version and the manual (still 1.0.0)?
As for the skinning: did I understand it correct that Avenger just uses a big bitmap file which anyone could alter or create?

A very simple, real-life scenario: one patch with 3 macro knobs assigned in the matrix in a way that brightens the sound (and drowns in reverb, let's say) when the macros are at 127 and add another one-osc patch that has the macros assigned in such a way that they have no sound at 127 and the sound is completely open with settings at 0. How would you solve this conflict on paper?DigiPRO wrote:Yes, I'm aware of the Avenger structure, therefore I was asking what would be the best way of freely move/copy oscillator slots between the patches. Yes, that's tricky, you could only allow paste IF all necessary parameters are not occupied. - OR - just allow copying the core OSC state with some basic settings.sircuit wrote:A very simple, real-life scenario: one patch with 3 macro knobs assigned in the matrix in a way that brightens the sound (and drowns in reverb, let's say) when the macros are at 127 and add another one-osc patch that has the macros assigned in such a way that they have no sound at 127 and the sound is completely open with settings at 0. Another way is just to open 2 instances of Avenger and layer them in the DAW...

I would like to use the Avenger's fx section on a fx bus, routing audio signal to inside. I guess not possible?
And additionally, I am missing copy-paste for fx! Like moving a fx setting from bus to bus.

Maybe they'll release a newer demo version as soon as they can confirm that 1.2.6 is running stable. Also some parts of the copy protection changed in one of the recent versions. I assume the demo needs to be reworked in parts too.Magnut wrote:I'd like to know when will there be an update for the demo (still 1.2.2) version and the manual (still 1.0.0)?

They already answered this and the reason for their "no" was exactly this:Hanz Meyzer wrote:I would like to use the Avenger's fx section on a fx bus, routing audio signal to inside. I guess not possible?

:'C What aboout then to copyprotect / iloking / (c)(r)℗ the audio stream output of avenger, and then only allow audio-in from another avenger
Because having these great effects only per instance is kind of limited for a solid song mixing sadly.

Because they are the same effects as Vengeance Producer Suite - Essential FX Bundle 1/2.Hanz Meyzer wrote:I would like to use the Avenger's fx section on a fx bus, routing audio signal to inside. I guess not possible?

If they make it as free plug-ins, i would want the money back too.

Well, if they were offering a nice cross-grade "avenger extender option" and also removed this fuckshit ilok, would be interesting.D-Arkrizer wrote:Because they are the same effects as Vengeance Producer Suite - Essential FX Bundle 1/2.Hanz Meyzer wrote:I would like to use the Avenger's fx section on a fx bus, routing audio signal to inside. Also no software ilok? Because that software sucks bigass, too.
EDIT: So I would have to buy FX Bundle 1+2 for 200€? Well then I use other stuff
What I mean is a "FX Avenger Bundle" exactly featuring all Avenger plugins, only in combo with VPS Avenger, for a fair price and no ilok shit.

1.0.30
- Added the ability to store and load complete FX-Chain Presets. New preset button appeared below the FX slots. For the first time: use "restore factory presets" function to create the new FX Chain factory presets
