Now I understand the spaghetti reference of "throwing things at the wall and see if something sticks"

I remember that, it was yellow as I recall? There was another site, no forum that had user songs/presets etc...
How original

Orion-central had a lot of yellow. VSS was even yellow-er

The snare looks tilted away from you. Is that how you play it?

It's now tilted towards the player ... I don't think I'd finished setting up when the photo was taken. I'm no drummer btw. I ran a rehearsal studio in the late 80's, so know how to setup a drum kit.morelia wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:55 pmThe snare looks tilted away from you. Is that how you play it?
Her dad is picking up the drums this weekend. I don't think he's ever been up close to a drum kit before. He'll need some assembly instruction ... fortunately, a big, heavy "How to play the drums" book came with the kit

My son started drumming 5 or so years ago and I had to learn quickly. I think I'm up to mud on drum tech's shoe level at present.thecontrolcentre wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 12:32 amIt's now tilted towards the player ... Here is a shot of the setup I will be using for my next few performances.

Much easier to move around than the big Buchla, Serge, Elektron and mixer cases I was lugging around last year.
I'll still be using the big rig in the future but my upcoming performances are supporting an EP I'll be releasing this spring, which covers a different sound/style than most are used to hearing from me. I can't wait to share!
