but I'd expected the link to have a .torrent extension - I only get
http://www.mininova.org/get/103202

which doesn't resolve properly..
now I've resorted to a website download - can someone please post the proper torrent link? thanks

Just use your web browser to open up the torrent link on the torrent download page. It'll redirect to the actual torrent.

Visit the link you listed, then click the torrent link on that page, save the torrent file to your desktop and use your favourite client to download. Piece of cake ;)

Mine took a few hours last night using Azureus. By now, with even more seeds, it shouldn't take that long at all :)

i had connections of 150kb per second and above, using the torrent... that's pretty much as fast as i can go, with this connection. :)

Mines all downloaded, burnt to CD and works like a dream!! :P :)

..but not this one though. It tries to extract info from the ISO and it says the file's unreadable/corrupt. Tried burning it as an ISO just now with Pioneer RecordNow DX and it wrote a big blank nothing. Foo.

Is the ISO just an NRG file in disguise?

Finally got it through Azureus. Much recommended to anyone wanting it ! It took around 4 hours of heavy downloading via ADSL.
I used Nero to burn the image file without a hitch. The program you use must be able to blindwrite images. Nero recognises the ISO format and simply burns it to a disc rather nicely. But you do need to tell the software to write an image file.

Yah, i've done that.

Daemon Tools won't mount the ISO. UltraISO says the ISO is corrupt. WinRAR doesn't like it and RecordNow burns it without caring but the CD is unusable. The ZIP file passes its CRC checks. So. I'll download again.

Would anyone mind posting the MD5 hash of an ISO they've managed to burn and make use of? The ISO file for PC installation wot i've got has an MD5 hash of 614cc97622e837e0749cd306aa715c20 - http://www.md5summer.org/download.html has a nice Win32 MD5 summer if you need one.

Post

Apparently, for Daemon tools to recognize it you need to rename it to .nrg, so probably it's indeed some disguised Nero image.

This is the answer I've got from Propelerheads HQ asking about the slow download.

.nrg files are basicaly modified .iso images. The company that made Nero added to the standard and put in some extra info into the file...since they modified it they had to rename it since it no longer met the standardization...so if you rename an .iso to .nrg Nero will just ignore that the extra info is not there...however it does not always work in reverse...sometimes the extra data from the .nrg file will corrupt a burn of a .nrg file renamed to .iso...it really depends on the program doing the burning.
