I almost believed that you were "Quoting" his misspelling of the word...until your wrote that blob of nonsense-grammar.

peace!
Hi hi, hi. :hihi:

Me obviously found a wound. Now some ppl seems to form a kinda anti attack (trying to deform my sharp egded senses) with spelling science ...

How many languages do you spell ALWAYS right?
What an great ability (to discover misspelling and "nonsense-grammar") form an hunne if he actually tries to perform your native mother language ... :P

Feel great!

The original comment i posted was to make light of things, as they were getting a bit out of line. However, you chose to take it personally, so now we're having this shit throwing contest. (Which we could continue if you'd like, i can match wits all night). My main point here is that midiworks went out of his way and made an affordable plugin that tries to simulate the process of a very expensive plugin...so he was a little cocky about it, who gives a shit....there's nothing wrong with taking pride in your work...Why idiots like yourself have to spend their time hacking at small time developers from behind your desks on the kvr forums is beyond me. So, where were your "sharp-edged senses" when you decided to rip a guys work apart? where was your super-human ability. can you see through walls? or leap tall buildings in a single bound?

Get a grip.

and by the way, i speak and write spanish fluently as well.

peace! 8)

I find that it helps to have impeccable grammar before poking fun at someone else's.

@Totc: By the way: you get personally, not me.

OK, then back to the topic. I gave it a try.

The cloned effect:
I suggest to take very special care if using this "clone" and watching especially the stereo field.

You may get heavy stereo phase problems for some reasons with it. (You know? It is obviously thougt to use as a stereo effect. Otherwise - if used as mono insert - the pan knobs don't work right.)

The "Pitch Variation" does quite nothing and the "Vibrato" is actually merely a tremolo. Maybe someone has to learn some terms here ... :hihi:
"Timing Variation" simply enlarges the delay time and the "Vocal Timbre" sounds like a strange phasing resonator or filter to me, which has also a static frequency by the way. Not even reacting to the variation of the input anyhow.

I did not try the Antares effect yet, but I believe very much that this effect here has not that much common with the original.

Even if not seen as a "clone"; I really don't know why I should use that and what it actually proves
...

Wait, you haven't even tried the antares demo!?!?!?!?!?!?! Then how can you talk at all!???

there's your answer midiworks.

and btw, "there" was a typo, i do know the difference between there and their.

Well.
Seems it is removed now. Maybe it was anything wrong with that distribution ...

NO, you smarty. As I sayd: I did try, whether this effect "works" generally (does what it promises). And it did not for me.

You can be sure, that I will try the Antares demo next.
But being an Antares customer, I will not expect such a primitive solution (a simple delay modulation effect) to be offered in the new vocal suite. :P

How can you even think, that a 10 minutes SE solution ever can even approximately compare to a brand new product from a company which is probably the leader of professional software based vocal solutions since years now ?

That's ridiculous. Both, the claim and the cloned product.

my very point thanx ;-) I think it was quite foolish for midiworks after all his hype on the amp thing to do this...I think he shot himself in the foot, hence my first comment...so I will say again Thanx midiworks, now I dont have to even bother with your amp sim...I wonder how many others you chased away with this "cloned" product...if you were selling a dollar for a dime at this point I wouldn't buy it from you...

okay now yell at me again

If I just won 10000 I'd be spending on all sorts of shit music related. However.... Having nothing else to go on, I quite like DuoX. If it is 10.00 and the Antares is 600.00 (estimate as I don't know) then Antares must be freaking incredible.

I mean: At leatst the price relation seems to justify the ibvious quality differences here (10.-). But not the initiated (try of) hype.

But the Antares product is not only a single plugin but a bundle of different professional and highly specialized design tools, by the way. So your try of direct comparsion was not that objective, I fear.

I personally don't know a single music studuio, where at least one certain Antares product is not used as permanent insert effect in a certain signal chain (running arround the clock) ...

That may also justify some price "class" here.

They're still pretty popular on the sewing circuit.
