Whats the diff between eXT and Audio Mulch?

This is a question I have given thought to myself.
For the styles of music I 'normally' compose 'Mulch' is probably not be a great choice (on it's own), although it can be fun as I tried the demo a while back.
My question is this; if I created 'something' in Mulch but then wanted to use XT to add drums/audio/whatever to build up the composition, how could this be achieved?
I am thinking that it would be a matter of rendering out the mulch creation and dropping it into an audio track in XT.

yup ... or loading eXT as a VSTi into mulch and doing it that way ...
