when i said very, i ment, get yourself a supercomputer and we'll talk.
Or you could opt not to do it the xtreme 100% alias-free way, which doesn't seem entirely pointful to me anyway (there are some possible uses, though, I admit), and get something like this.

jackson, maybe what you're asking for isn't what I thought it was; but if it is, is there seriously no vst that does this already? I find that hard to believe. The bit I posted was made with a Buzz machine I wrote about two years and a half ago, when I had basically no idea about anything, and it wasn't hard to do even then.

Jack - yeah I guess so! I've never really looked at Kantos but I guess that sorta what it's about?

I heartily recommend Kantos. Or cheaperish, Alien Solo. Or for free, FrettedSynth's Triplead.

isn't Kantos ugly, expensive, and PACE protected?

Alien Solo - never heard of, I'll check it out, ditto for Triplead

thanks for the suggestions! greatly appreciated 8)

Just checked the KVR Plugin database for Kantos

$269, protected by PACE Interlok

don't need to investigate any further

i'll check out the others though, thanks!

my dream? maybe it's a synth, but i want something that distorts, chops, then smooths and produces harmonics. i want a tremendous, cutting, living sound. i guess i want a granulator that can do solos

really, anything that has distortion and harmonics is good. choppiness would be nice too. bit crush would be good if it just had the good parts of bit crushing while keeping the quality of the original. i have a feeling i want what many others want. i'm sure they've explained better than i

An analog sounding Revox B tape echo, and a Roland Space
Echo (without DSP cards).

Post

An ultimate delay which would have evolving flanging/chorus/bit-crushing/multiple filters/real-time pitch shifting on the feedback line

have a link for Alien Solo? can't find it on KVR database.....

thanks

My wish is kind of an instrument/effect. A TTS synth that has pitch shifting, vocoding and a gate effect all triggerable from a midi clock sync step sequencer.

As well as Chase above, I would like a delay with effects in the feedback, or better yet, a way to plug other VST's into the feedback. I would like this delay to be able to be very long, like one minute or more.

Guitar amplifier feedback! Yeah!
