I can't believe it's called GAG.
Am excited to demo it though...hoping it will replace my waves gate...gotta ween myself off that iLok bullshit.

Torben is the man ..... as usual.
Side chain aside, Is this gate the same as the one inside the GAC-1 or is it a new code all together?
Nice GUI.

On the other hand I like the old GUI as well.
What do you think?
See them side by side.
The new one is cool and pretty but is it easier on the eyes?

New look is cool, but to me old pots and buttons look better than the new ones. Everything else is top notch like background bitmap, font is much better and preset buttons are great for instance. the old one is easier on eyes a bit.

Not important but something else I would love to see on all the plugs is the ability to manually enter numerical values into those black boxes.

Looks and sounds very nice!
RE: Kingston, I thought he was originally from abroad
regarding the sound matters, he could talk all the day (even it's pretty often on point), but the production examples on his site really tell their story.
Floorfish has given me excellent results on voices, but isn't it some sort of material-dependent implementation? Anyway this GAG seems to be a lot more flexible and adjustable.bmanic wrote:Looks really good this one! I trust Kingston very much when it comes to sound quality (only a few times have we disagreed). This might very well be the first and only gate that I need (well, I've been using Floorfish with mediocre results).

Somewhere we started with the GAC-1 gate, but there is little left of it.AndrewSimon wrote:Torben is the man ..... as usual.![]()

Nice GUI.
Regarding the GUI, all honour and glory goes to Rune Lund-Hermansen (otiumFX). I like it personate too though I never disliked the old GUI really (which is one of my babies
