If you could give me some details on this, that would be awesome! All the Sonitus plugs are in my Shared Plugs folders. I thought there were both DX and VST versions, but when I moved the .dll's to my VST folder, the wrapper didn't recognize them and then Sonar told me they were missing.

What am I missing here???
If you look in blah/Shared Plugins you should see 'matched pairs' of plugins named like

SonitusFxPhaseDX.dll
Sonitus FxPhase.dll

The latter is the VST version. Copy (not move) all the VST versions into a separate folder and point your VST-type host at that new folder, not the one which also contains the DX files.

You should get the Delay, Phaser, Gate, Modulator, Reverb, Surround and Wahwah, I think.

Not suprised that they wouldn't bundle the first WINDOWS versions of Cakewalk....as this would show how much HASN'T changed.
I'm not a Sonar hater or anything, BUT the only reason I never upgraded from Cakewalk pro audio 9 was because I found that Sonar 5 STILL had many menus (including the project menu) left over from pre- Pro Audio days! I already ranted about this in a different thread.

The bottom line to me is this, until SONAR gets a COMPLETE facelift (ie no more win 3.11 default help icons and a frikkin updated midi-mapping gui, etc etc) there is no way they are getting another penny from me. I paid them to give me an "updated" audio engine twice (remember wavepipe anyone?) which have since been replaced in the numerous versions of Sonar yet in 2006 there are sections of the GUI which haven't been touched since the early 90's...(over 10 years)

I think the product is great, but if they want my money they need to do some cleaning.
I dont think this is much to ask for considering the money spent.

edit: from reading the other thread on Sonar 6, looks like there may be some GUI improvements coming...I look forward to the demo (see it wasnt really a rant)
