Id like it to record straight to disk instead of into the ram, really limits it for me, i wouldnt mind pre-allocating files and naming them in the way that voxengo recorder works.

Then you could have longer recording times even a full song length.

Please make proper wave file export without having to use other software just to use the files :)

GLFO is indeed very cool :tu:

But I'm a loop finatic and former user of Digital performers polar module which is in my opinion, the best one. I've heard a bit about this one and I'm glad it records to ram which improves performance with many software loopers. does it crossfade the ends to prevent clicks? Can you reverse any take on the fly? Is there a graphical 'lane' for each take? I'll check it out when I can - just wondering.

go to: http://www.magicd.com/polar.html

and click the 'click to view' link to see some of the features In polar that I'd like to see in gloop. may take a min to come up - its an mpeg movie of motu's polar module.

ok I've now used the gloop plugin. Things I'd like to see are the ability under 'sync' to sync the gloop plugin's play or rec/ovrdub button to the hosts so that If I can select a loopr range in my hos, enable the hosts metronome, and hit say space (shich starts playback in cubase for example) and my gloop will begin rcording and I can use the metronome to keep it all in sync. I also wee we could bounce individual loop passes - at say 16 bit so conversion isn't required. A graphical representation of each passes wavform would be nice as shown in the previous motu polar example. and being able to manipulate single aout previous passses/takes would be nice - for example - reversing a previous take. Perhaps a system in which each take could be identified would be nice. maybe giving each a number or something. A display showing the number of passes I can record before I run out of RAM would also be awesome - These things would be AWESOME. YOu guys make some great stuff.

also, rather than just being able to come back to a mixed down file, gloop should (disregard if it already does this) beable to save gloops 'sessions' so that one can seemlessly be able to come back and continue looping in new takes where they left off.

Post

Actually, I'm pretty sure it only does it that way, and can't yet save a mixed down file.
