I'm running an Nvidia Gforce 4 TI4200 video card in a homebuilt tower (yeah it's getting old...). Otherwise similar to your system - don't know about the Data Execution Prevention off setting though. Where do I find that and how should it be set?

2. select Properties
3. go to the "Advanced" tab
4. click on the Settings button for "Performance"
5. go to the "Data Execution Prevention" tab
It's off if it says "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".
It's unlikely that it's the reason for the crash, but it did cause problems at one point (with the initial version of FL 5.0).
Btw, I've got a Radeon videocard, so that's probably not the cause.

So are everyone's problems with Sytrus 2.3 solved now? Or are there any left?

downloading now reflex....if I notice anything, I'll pop a message...if you don't hear from me - then it's all good.
BTW - is Sytrus pronounced = SY-TRUS or like Citrus? I personally have been pronouncing it as "citrus" as in a citrus fruit, i.e. lemon.
no idea if it's pronounced the same in the UK as we pronounce it here in the US. I think the cat on the Sytrus videos pronounces it as SY-TRUS, though.... just curious as to how the you, the developers, pronounce it

it did throw me off, though, when the dude on the video pronounced it as SY-TRUS, though. maybe that's how "citrus" is pronounced in the UK??

We pronounce it the same way in the UK: Sit-rus. I've always presumed that was how Sytrus was pronounced. Even if it's supposed to be SY-trus, I'm not calling it that it sounds daft!
the way is not a religious or political statement
