Wusikstation Beta B312z10 fixed the problems with diskstreaming. No more "whack!"
I really like the Gospel Jam preset. For some reason it is the best piano I have ever played for guitar synth. It is great fun to finger pick, and triads on the top three strings just sound really musical. Thanks so much for this freebie!

Please post some MP3s if possible... it'd be cool to hear the piano played by a guitar synth!

Greg,
Here is a track with the Kawai Grand on it. I am fingerpicking with a GK-3 pickup and a GR-20. The bass is also from Manytone, the upright bass set.
Feedback on the song and the mix will be appreciated.

Cool! It's interesting hearing the piano being played by a guitar, because the note choices and patterns (obviously) come from a guitar background.
As for the mix, it seems pretty dry, but maybe that's just the style. What if you bussed some tracks (I.E. the piano, the vocals) to some subtle reverb to fill things out. I find if you use busses to handle the reverb, you can pan things more drastically, too, allowing for a wider-sounding production.

Greg,
I do tend to be subtle with effects. There is a touch of Ariesverb on the vocals, and a bit of compression in various places and on the master, but I tend to go light. I like it to sound open.
I am going to be away for about ten days, so I'll think about remixing when I get back.
Thanks for the feedback. I am sure I will get more use out of the Kawai Grand, and I love the bass soundsets.
