I've just tried the version that's currently up (working fine on an E6600 with eXT) and I think this is going to be my new favourite tool for keeping stuff in the frequency range it should stay in
Tweaking frequencies at high order (64) has nice side effects: tweaking low can generate nice sounding resonance and tweaking high causes the sound to get lovely pitch shifted. Please don't touch this behaviour in next releases (esp the pitch shift)! Could be great when modulated/automated
Any chance for keyboard entry of values?
And what are the small dials for?

I think the linear phase version will be for private purpose only. Alternatively you can purchase it for - erm, let me say - a million dollarsDRDRDR wrote:impressivewhen can we test it ?
Seriously I'd like to finish it first, then we'll see. It's a bit problematic, the version I made isn't 100% linear phase and isn't 100% butterworth anymore (due to design). But yesterday at night I successfully compiled a phase reduced 100% butterworth filter. With that idea I used I can have a smooth transition between a minimum-phase and a maximum-phase version. Unfortunatly it's not possible to have linear-phase in between only something I called 'phase reduced' :-/
The residual phase is very small, but still measureable.

Hope all is going well christaian, I'm not a programmer but what you made sounds nice and different for a filter.. it has a good top end rise up apart from the zipper effect, automation quirks aside though it has a good sound to it, so keep perfecting it. Reminds me of some experiment I found online with a 100ft slinky haha ..with a really whistling sound.

There will be a new RubberFilter release with up to 384dB/Oct soon, just making everything ready now...

That is possible. The legs of the "table" just represent the fact that those frequencies are being folded (or shifted) and that the db is being reduced there. The leg on the right could be done by aliasing. And the leg on the left would need to be processed by some fft-ifft resynth thing.
