its all in their website. Its just the independance gui.

Anyways, i downloaded the whole kazoo in 30 mins flat...you may have to cut and paste the sound content in their images folder.

There are 5-8 decent instruments (percussions, guitars, acoustic drums). Other than that, its a closed system. i.e. you cant get anything out, or in. Too bad it wont let me load wav files, i really wanted to chop some stuff in this and make a drum kit of my own - just to see if its as good as my hardware sampler.

Loading times are pretty fast. The effects are nothing to write home about, but they're good. Sound quality is pretty good. This sampler is somewhere in between kontakt 2 and gigastudio 3, imo. It can do a lot of those nifty tricks that you can do in GS3, while having certain sound mangling potentials, like the arp, crusher, pitch shifter, etc.

I'd load this in Highlife and sample the percussions, create an instrument in .gig format, and delete the yellow tools.

I am expecting something valuable on the embedded efx side, as they have a multiefx which is quite pricey.

but...Still 9 hours to download to for me...

I dont really see what you can do with this that you cant do with Kontakt. Maybe there's a ton of stuff you can do in independance that you cant do in GS3, but i still prefer GS3 for simplicity.

How are the ethno/world percussion's like ?

I remember a Djembe on the early Culture's tryout version that was quite impressive, is it included ?

For those of you having errors I had loads but kept refreshing the page until it started to load. It is almost like getting into a slot. Refreshing the "error" page worked for me.

Just thinking wouldnt this be way faster as a torrent as there are obviously so many people trying to get it at once?

The 180 MB installer already has some ytif files in it. You can install the big 1.6GB honker after the fact. Some of the sounds are quite nice. I'm trying to hook it up to Jamstix2 right now.

Probably yes. I guess Yellow tools want to see just how much of a battering their servers can handle first.

It seems to be just about holding up

A mixer is included as well...this is no toy that much is certain.

haven't downloaded the sound library yet, but the plugin comes with the 'information' for the library..
