From the All-Too-Fast-Appraisal Dept. -- I'm digging the Sub-1!! Very cool! Warning, though -- possible bug? -- when I disengage and then engage various buttons, it's possible to get a spike in the amplitude. Not always, but enough to mention. That aside, this tool has the power to transform a mix very quickly.

In fact, I'm liking that about many of your efforts -- it's almost like they're designed to get a different sound very quickly. Me likey. (It's all about making the sounds easier to get to, isn't it?)

Like the Leveling Amp too, though again, too little time checking it out. Got it to add some motion to a static mix.

By all means, get back to your music! You've left enough toys under the tree to appease the most churlish of mixers. :D

Cheers and -- yet again! -- THANK YOU.

Yeah SUB-1 should have a warning. It's not that it has a bug it's that i didn't make it "child-proof" The width (resonance peak)can get out of control at some settings. Filter settings that work with high frequency's wont always work with low frequency's. The fact that this can switch from a LP to a HP with a single click, well as you see you can get some weird stuff. Weird but not wrong. I'd rather have as many options as possible rather then limit it. I actually love bringing the width to it's narrow limit and making things almost scream. Just like on a analog synth.

Glad you like it tho.

For sure. I like things to be full featured but strait forward. Take the compressors, you can put them on a buss and adjust the thresh and call it a day. Or you can fine tune your key to emulate almost anything you want. Everything should be like that.
I hate plugins that are purposely limited just so version 2.0 can have something new. (cough cough mcdsp) Then you have guys like the AM-suite, they won me over. I'm sure I will have things like FFC-2 but it will be a different beast not a better beast.

Ah, I see. Same philosophy with the Reaper people. That philosophy wins me over completely. Have respect for your audience (in this case, end user). Vastly superior to putting the equivalent of "safety caps" on parameters.

Oh, minor note. The LVA seems to instantiate with the Channel Link DEselected. Just gave me a few moments confusion as to what was going on.

Sign of a healthy artist, imho -- the ability to let go of a piece and move on to the next, rather than returning to the same piece again and again with an insane perfectionism, trapped in a labyrinth....

Take a break. Thanks again.

Cheers.

Hi Vieris.

Thanks for all your hard work on these amazing plugs!

Just wondering, is it possible (or worth it) to build a virtual lunchbox for your modules with the ability to load any of your modules into?

Post

I'm so happy! A Sub-1 for me! :hyper:

Thanks, Vieris! I have some errands to do, but I'll give them a go later. Go make some music! :P

Here is the LVA-1 on some of my crazy ass industrialish/hand perc. I love how it pumps with the kicks.

This is me abusing the LVA-1 on the main output of crappy mackie drunken live improv jam. Makes this rehearsal recording all most sound good. :)
