I never fell for that "plug in for life thing" as it sounded like something similar to the TiVo life membership deal. "Life" in that case meant the life of your TiVo unit, not your life. If your unit got fried in a fire you were screwed. I always feel odd when someone promises something like that for this exact reason. Don't promise something you can't or won't deliver.

In this case it basically sounds like, "All plug ins are free, except the ones where we really put in a lot of effort." I'd be mad. I am, however, also looking forward to this one as the demos sound very good.

From now on, you will be able to get ALL Products from prodyon.de including upcoming titles
for a one-time fee of $49.95 USD!
Once you made your payment, you will never have to pay again for any new product from us!!"

In the small print further down the page, in grey letters on a grey background it says ...

"(NOTE: This offer may exclude "Agonyx II")"

WTF Dennis?

TBH - the site was offline for sometime and I kinda took it that this was a re-launch/new line.

Ive no issue paying for this - in fact Im very excited about it. I feel Ive gotten good value for money out of the lifetime deal...

In fairness I wouldnt expect a complex creation to be part of the lifetime deal

A deal is a deal. You must respect it!

hasnt it been 'offline' twice now? its certainly on its 2nd or 3rd domain.

the whole thing is somewhat inconsistent. when asteroid came out (via prodyon.net, rather than the older site) that was included in the 'lifetime plugins' deal. and for sale separately, briefly, before that site also disappeared, less than 6 months ago.

why not? the sample sets must have been pretty labour-intensive too, but they were included.

sorry, but this won't be part of that deal (as stated back then)- it's a whole different beast... and as you all possibly know: it's going to be "Agonyx II" 8)

But since you all know me - it will be priced very "realistically" :)
Which is fine indeed as this beast sounds SWEET!
And Dennis' work is ALWAYS very high quality!
Thats right for sure.
I just bought some of his effect plugins and the agonyx1.
That does not sound like a plugin for life pack I think.
May be I have a chance to change it to a plug in for live
pack some how. Jesus will help me to manage that :D

I personally like sonicfire and hate to say anything negative about a fellow dev and friend.

However, I bought the plugins for life and just after that he closed his doors, or so I thought,

I could not reach him (not that I was trying, mind you), and then he surfaces with this new cool looking synth (or should I say the gui looks cool).

I've always loved his sampleset for Wusik and other synths and he was very accomodating when it refused to install off the DVD (he had to send me two more until it worked).

That said, I truly feel his "plugins for life" scheme was very similar to something that William of Wusik would conjure up = he needed the money and came up with something that would inject more income quickly into his bank account.

That said (and realize I am GUESSING on a hunch, none of what I interject above is fact), I feel I got my money's worth by having access to all of his really nice plugins.

I have no regrets.

I hope his new synth is a soaring success because it could not happen to a nicer and more talented person!

If I may have a wish.
Dont make the skin so dark.
Its look does not fit to the good sound it has.
May be ask the kvr folks for theier opinion?

@previous posters: sorry for all the trouble and inconveniences. i now, its all a bit messy and strange - but no worries, the whole thing (prodyon site + audiotorium 'n stuff) will get back online as soon as i'm finish with my A2 project.

And to all plugin-for-life!-customers, i will think about a little bonus or compensation concerning my new Agonyx2 ;)

@classic: hmm...nah, i dont think it's too dark. Or is it?! Here on my screen it looks pretty bright! Ok, what do the others think?

@mike: thank you very much! :)

May not be suitable for your synth, but orchestral Percussion - especially timpani and deep resonant gongs are what I'm missing in VST'S.
