Should it? Why do you think in such a category anyway?Compyfox wrote:Welcome to the family, Reaper-Fanboy.tattiemannie wrote:The Reaper arrived and told me to uninstall it from my hard drive and put it out of its misery!
Seriously, was that really necessary? Does that make you a superior user or something?
Right. They should do a new DAW, the bestest ever and throw it out for $225. No dongle. I would buy it after checking out the DEMO (!) and finding out that it really is the ultimate thingy. The Reaper/ProTools/Logic-killer. Yeah.Compyfox wrote:And why do I even write in a thread like that? I just thought "sh*t, Steinberg just revealed a new host and ditches their rewrite of Cubase yet again" - geez.

with a thread title of cubase is dead - you know it will !Meekual wrote:does this REALLY have to be an argument?
a thread title of I have discovered reaper - it's great -less so
Frankly the first post is so close to trolling that debating wether it is or isnt seems ridiculous - must be a slow news day
and what do you know - page 5 and counting
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

i think i'm about the only cubase user to have responded in this thread so far - and I couldnt care about what te poster thinks about cubase - I just wonder what he hoped to achieve by his original post, other than a stoopid thread like this
so who is that comment directed at ?

LOL, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Tracktion is the worst coded, most bug ridden software in the history of DAWS. So bad I've heard Babya's moving on to Babya Tracktion.ChinaBitch wrote:Reaper is just a little project of wannabe programmers. Almost every day again an 'update' and still not stable.
