After bringing each example to my laboratory for my world-renowned team of experts to dissect, the conclusion was that these came from a circuit bent Teddy Ruxpin. The bill is in the mail.

Here's a somewhat more typical sound:
www.scherer.de/Download/Herecomesanother.mp3
It's the original and the 'copied' version again. I changed the reverb to a more mushy one, which show the difference in what survives in terms of clarity and distinction. Notice how annoying mid range resonances accumulate with one version while the other stays free of them.
I'll spill the beans with the next mp3.
Someone at another board thought it was an OB-X. I wish.

It's impossible to guess because there are far too many synths out there in the world. Without any clue what's the point of this?

This one should reveal it:
www.scherer.de/Download/Finally.mp3
What I'd like to know ist what differences you hear between the versions and which version you prefer, not only in this, but also in the other files (I know many would prefer not to hear this file at all
). And for what reasons.
Thanks!

BTW, since someone mentioned the Microwave1, that's probably my favourite synth for pads/ambiences. This is just a single patch (+ a choir sample played simultaniously) and two reverbs:
www.scherer.de/Download/RealPads.mp3
There are some parts with not much happening because I was browsing the internet while playing.
