What a crazy description...
I never figured a way to describe some of my songs...I would never think of this on my own, thank you.
I guess that the "arabian" part comes from me living on Balkan peninsula, the Turks ruled here for 500 years, now it is almost impossible to untangle many things, including music. The good side of it is that we are familiar with odd rhythms like 7/8, 9/8 etc, and some scales less used in most western music.
I'm still new with MySpace, mismatches will occur.
Man, you have a lot of music on your web pages...I will give it a more thorough listen, but I like what I heard so far.
I've just found another song I used GTG for, it's interesting how such a light VST gives such a quality sound. No 15 GB soundbank, and yet totally useable.
arabian sounding, space age pop like that reminds vaguely of The Shadows

I was looking through my plugs and I think I have it.
I'm not at home now so I'm not sure of the dll name but one or two of them seemed close to Micro.

apologies for digging up a really old thread, but I've opened a really old track which is missing E-Flex.
I've changed machines a few times since the track was made, so VSTs are missing, and it's especially difficult to find some of the older more obscure ones as they are no longer hosted anywhere online.
I could swap it out for something else as the midi data is intact, but i'm curious to hear the original sound, whatever it was.
Would anyone have this antique dll hanging around that you'd be able to share ?
Thanks

I'm still trying to hunt down E-Flex, but FL won't accept it unless it's the version I used at the time of saving the track, which was E-Flex 2.1
I can find E-Flex, and E-Flex 3, but there's no sign of E-Flex 2 that I can find.
Can anyone help me with this ? I was hoping Mr.GTG himself, could help. Would you have it anywhere Mik ?

Mik, would you have a copy of E-Flex 2.1 ?gtg605 wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2009 3:21 pm Hi all.

Mik, GTG Synths.
I used it in an old track, but due to changing PC's a few times, I've lost some older vsts.
My old track won't load it's part because it needs E-Flex 2.1, but I can't find it online anywhere. I can find 1 , and 3, but no sign of 2.1
Thanks

There's a GTG collection that includes both E-Flex 3 and E-Flex 2.2, which is closer -- but since it's still not quite the same version, that still might not get you there, unfortunately.
