I know everyone is different, but I really do not understand how some could think this is overrated and overhyped.
How could this not be the greatest thing even more than slice bread? :-)

By the way cool idea on how to use the nanokeys as a trigger for key switches...

It is going to be so hard to wait till Monday for this....

thanks for this Eric, Glenn et al..

I've also wondered if they'd release a version of Omnisphere with an audio in so you could use it's filters and effects on an audio track/input. That's one of my top wishlist items.

They have been asked that question MANY times. Every reply I've seen has been that they won't do it because they are not into the business of effects plugins, but rather instruments. So I wouldn't hold my breath, as cool as it would be.

I thought the official word was that they're focusing on their own sounds for now and that sample import/audio-in hasn't been ruled out.

Crap, I quoted the wrong post! I meant to quote the post that was quoted concerning releasing the effects as plugins of their own.

Sorry, my post wasn't about sample import or audio input. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing!

Then the designers of the "internal" plugins should consider that one. I mean, it'd add a lot of value to the RMX pack. So my vote goes for a VST Version of the FX section of RMX.

Who knows, maybe we get that with RMX1.8? If there ever will be a v1.8 though. I slowly get the feeling, that this might be the last 1 to 1,5 year for RMX v1. But it's still that good(!).

Well, the internal plugins are by multiple companies from GMedia and others. So it would have to be split, most likely.

To be honest, the fact that Eric is an excellent keyboarder (who could probably make it in any band), surely helps in demonstrating Omnisphere.
Very often you find great instruments, but their demos and demo players (live or online) are often pretty mediocre. Not so with Spectrasonics products, their demos are almost always made by top notch musicians.

However, I seriously feel it's time to get at least Stylus now. These new options are just fantastic.

get it-you wont regret it!
Seriously Sascha-it became an absolutly essential tool in my studio just like the other Spectrasonics stuff.
Its so inspiring and it is totally effortless to get a professional sound with.

I think RMX is top of my wish list right now - I can almost hear it filling some of the gaps I have in pieces I've worked on.

That is really just fantastic. I'm currently touring for quite a while, hoping I'll get to some shop having RMX in stock. I'll then just buy it, period.
