Is this version of Tarkus a Demo? It doesn't make any Noise Beeps/White Noise and doesn't time out? It hasn't yet for me and I've been using it for over an hour. What exactly are the Demo Restrictions if there even are any? I haven't noticed any at all? Maybe it's not even a Demo?

I know Pterosaur VSTi was released around the same time and that was quite a Good Synth too.chicken muffin wrote:was michael kastrups evol released in the same time frame? that was a pretty good synthstrav101 wrote:Why are they selling that ol' sh*t? I sent them an email earlier today and they (Chris) replied quickly - in fact I received a couple of responses from him so the support is certainly looking much better. He is being inundated with emails like mine (getting new authorizations) but he said that he plans to have the new authorizations sent out ASAP. He also said that he had more info to put on the website about support for existing customers.
I had been pretty unhappy with them since they disappeared and I couldn't legally use their plugs that I had paid for. But at least it seems that Chris is trying to make things better now.

I think it works for awhile without any restrictions.BFunKu wrote:Is this version of Tarkus a Demo? It doesn't make any Noise Beeps/White Noise and doesn't time out? That is great news and exactly what many will want to hear. I've already emailed them so I will now expect a reply.lethe wrote:I sent them an email earlier today and they (Chris) replied quickly - in fact I received a couple of responses from him so the support is certainly looking much better. I'm glad to hear they are making an effort to put things right..

I spent 331 Swedish Krona on the trance pro bundle (that's about 40 US dollars)..
For that price I don't think it gets me very much "bitching and moaning" mileage but it seems some would disagree and would gladly whinge until the end of time...
Not only that but some bitch and moan on behalf of others too.. Now that's value for money!..

Looks like its got a 20 day time out.BFunKu wrote:Is this version of Tarkus a Demo? It doesn't make any Noise Beeps/White Noise and doesn't time out? If the dev comes and explains himself then we get back on board.
Tarkus is not bad at all with some nice features. It's not as bright and shiny as sylenth for instance so maybe the price should reflect that.

I think they should compensate the old customers by giving Tarkus to them for free. Hopefully new serials are not tied to HW so that we would not have a problem if they would dissapear again.

So why are they back now? Because the piracy is gone?TNR wrote:Maybe software piracy drove them away?
