IMO, XT is one of the fastest workaround systems. I get more done in XT with its simple features that I do in other more complex systems. I'm sure there are many that need more complex features, but I seem to write more with XT than with fumbling with menus of other hosts. Sure there have been times that I wish XT had what so and so has, but it doesn't stop me from creating a finished piece of music.

I agree. Xt is the fastest and straight to the point. And with all this new stuff that's coming out you practically need a degree to run because the learning curve is so steep, Xt gives me exactly what I need and less of what I dont want.
Kinda of remind me of the old Fostex 4-track that I had a few years back.
But with more VROOOOOM!!!

But you start adding all that "arrange window" stuff and... well it's not simple anymore! That's what I mean, no one can agree what the minimum is. I really think the average bedroom composer could get by with what I described... I use these basic features all the time in Logic... And very little of the other stuff. I don't do this for a living, but I suspect a LOT of these other people don't either. Which leads me to "coming next." Dbl. click drum clips to edit window!
Ha!

this bug annoys me a long time too ...michi_mak wrote: ... - i end up with inserting notes only in the top octave ...
it happens in the note-editor when the mousefocus is on the keyboard-ledge
and scrolling with the mousewheel during ctrl or altgr holding.
all notes jumped in the top or someplace else.
the undo-button helps sometimes
comprehensible always

Meh. It's not wildfire paced development but this is fairly sensible stuff. It's not straight up "what is he thinking" like adding an entirely new guitar amp. And at least development is happening and it's not months of silence again.
A bit of focus on the bug list would be nice, though...

f**k guys! How do expect somebody to keep developing some new ideas when everybody is trashing him (Jorgen). This is so f**ked up. I am ashamed. I really wish Jorgen some success in his ideas cuz I believe in them no matter how long it takes. Forget the half robot/dev shit, he's human like me and you and motivation also comes from peers. We should all work together and f**k the stupid ego.
How would you feel if your work would be trashed by a lot of people and still keep the fire to bring it to the table?
