How about program changes via controller. Is this still gonna happen? I can't stand mouse's when playing keyboard, for switching sounds, rather use a button on my board.

Yes it'll happen, hopefuly in version 2.1. But of course for this functionality we need to implement the capability to assign presets to MIDI programs.bobbybland wrote:How about program changes via controller. Is this still gonna happen? When did you download? Last night when I initially uploaded the standard version the archive was corrupted so I uploaded again this morning.ew wrote:I get an unknown compression format error when trying to extract the new version

Try downloading again, that might help. but make sure you wipe out your browser cache before downloading.

If anyone is having problems or not with Synthmaster2 and are using SX3 or cubase as the host could you possibly go here and answer a few questions, the Dev hasn't got cubase(only reaper) so cannot get the same fault I'm having to be able to fix it?
It mutes on certain presets the whole plugin and turns on the yellow mute button on the cubase vst wrapper...
go here if you can help-

Only Cubase users - thanks!

This issue might be fixed in our 2.0.3.3. release. Could you re-test?breakmixer wrote:If anyone is having problems or not with Synthmaster2 and are using SX3 or cubase as the host could you possibly go here and answer a few questions, the Dev hasn't got cubase(only reaper) so cannot get the same fault I'm having to be able to fix it?![]()

Hi everyone,
We're glad to announce a new release for SynthMaster: v2.0.3.3
Here are the updates/fixes for this release:
v2.0.3.3
1. NEW: Factory/user waveforms can now be used in Basic/Additive oscillators and modulators
2. FIX: Even if both oscillators are turned off, SynthMaster generates noisy output
3. FIX: Arpeggiator is not synced to tempo correctly when engine quality >= 2
4. FIX: ADSR/Multistage envelopes missing Sync button on the default skin
5. FIX: When a note is instantly turned on and off (as in glissando playing), SynthMaster crashes
6. FIX: ADSR Envelopes with sustain level set to zero enter into release stage suddenly
7. FIX: KeyScaler parameters are not persisted correctly
Happy holidays!

Hi everyone,
After a long silence period, it's time to update the KVR community on the coming new features in SynthMaster 2.1
In 2.1, we tried really hard to improve the filters section, both "analog" and "digital" models. The "digital" models have been re-written actually, and I believe they now sound similar to a "v"ery "V"amous VA. The analog models have been improved as well, after comparing the filter sweep outputs with filter sweeps from a Moog Voyager.
We finally added distortion to the filters, and you have 4 choices to apply it:
1. No distortion at all
2. Before the filter
3. After the filter
4. Inside the filter (in between the sections of the filter)
For the filter response graphs, the analog response curves are also added so the curves are basicly "what you see is what you get"
Even for a simple LP filter the analog and digital response curves tell the difference visually!
We added new filter types by the way:
1. MultiMode filters: These filters have a "mode" parameter which is continuously switchable between LP-BP-HP:

2. Dual-MultiMode filters: "Dual" filters are actually two filters running simultaneously. You can adjust the mode, cutoff of each, and also the mix ratio and the topology (parallel/series).

There are analog versions of the above filters as well:

As you see above, for the analog filters, there's a "slope" parameter as well, which is continuously adjustable!
Our plan is to wrap up all of the changes until the end of April, and make a release in May. Let's hope that we can meet that target deadline

Forgot to add a couple of things above:
1. The UI above is prototype, so we'll introduce a new skin for 2.1 release.
2. We will be adding a mod matrix UI so that we can squeeze more parameters into the UI by eliminating all of those rings/modulators around parameters.
3. The "distortion" curve is editable so you can come up with many different sorts of nonlinearities.
4. There are other minor additions as well, such as "drift" parameters for oscillators and envelopes.
