same result as you in windows 7 / 32bit. have been testing this version for a while and it's been solid for me.look at this video and it shows my cpu at 2-3% using Largo 1.5.1
as reported on waldorf beta forum:

mouse moves smoothly when adjusting dials etc
no more graphics issues
browser now works fine
largo boots faster from host
still testing

look bottom right of my screen for cpu results whilst working in Largo 1.5.1

Hi Igro

I'll ask Achim to test this as i don't have Xp anymore i can only test windows 7 32/64 bit which im doing now.
Please list your setup and i'll post on the beta forum.
Did you delete the old Largo 1.5.0 installer etc and run the e-licencer again for the 1.5.1?
Please try that and tell me the result :) I'll then pass the details to Wolfram tonight..

BTW

1 more preset to program for the new Blofeld bank :) just hit 128 now and will start audio demos tommorrow..

Any plans to make 64 bit Waldorf Largo?

Post

The gui IS still sluggish if you play notes same time when you try to tune knobs. Gui is fine, if you don't play anything (keyboard or notes in pianoroll).

How you going to tune knobs if you don't have a change play your melody?

Unbelievable..

ye, while you play your keyboard fast? Flagrantly the problem is in midi, midi send and midi receive or something.

Play your keyboard "fast", not long notes, and same time to tune knobs -> it will slow down significantly.

Post

Nope, can't confirm that.

Sonar users switch off x-ray :) hope this helps.
All users delete the 1.5.0 installer and save your own presets to a different location.
Download and install 1.5.1 and run the e-licencer..

test machine:

Q6600 Windows 7 32bit
Ati Radeon 512mb Graphics
Largo 1.5.1
Soanr 8pe/Studio One Pro Beta

cpu hit = 2-3% idle
cpu hit = init program whilst playing notes 3-4%

Highest cpu hit on long release presets = 12-18%

waiting for results from XP beta testers and will post results here.

Thanks

Rob
