Arpeggio melodies are only way to demostrate superwave sound. I'll waiting. Remember do some filtercut off etc.. :P

Edit; seems to be bad programmed midi, anyway, here is the orginal song

The MIDI is horrible, most notes are simply too long. Got any better?

It won't be a problem though. I just firstly have to match the JP.

Nah... I'll try to match it with a 6dB LP maybe. But that won't really be necessary I think. Most people probably use the JP's EQ to add some brightness anyway.

Would this give a good result ?

Well there's this http://www.analoguehaven.com/synthesistechnology/e340/
but it's a digital module.

Other than that it's tough because most people don't have 7 of the same oscillator. There are tricks to get phase shifted saws using comparators but that isn't the same thing as a supersaw. The only realistic way to get a super saw out of an analog modular is via overdubbing/layering. I think that the OP actually has some experience with the subject. :hihi: I don't know how successful he was though.

Ultimately, most people who use analog modulars aren't looking for supersaw.

Sure, just record the same line 7 times and you get a nice unison effect. Playing it live... is rather expensive and most likely monophonic. If that wasn't so, I wouldn't bother doing it in software.

Try this, http://www.nonstop2k.com/community/midi ... php?id=143

Scroll down little bit.

To me, it is better and sounds like orginal.

Indeed, as the trick of the JP lies within the bent slope of the sawtooth and phase shifting saws only works with "proper" linear sawtooths...

Might try it tomorrow, but no promises... I'm really slow with stuff like that and rather spend the time on the actual code

i'm going to record my hardware Novation super Bass station and overdub a few instances with detune. Then mix down the finished waveform and loop.

could result in a nice Supersaw.

I try to make some supersaw using that midi :P Feel free to guess synth.

Good, that will make me less frustrated about having paid several hundred dollars for my JP if there's a good s/w emulation just around the corner. :P

Oh, so this has turned into a supersaw showdown? :D

:D

actually i have made some very tasty supersaws.

However, they are locked up for a forthcoming project.

maybe not quite as good as Urs though.

if the example is indeed not the Roland synth.

 :D
