Sure did m_m ... but downloading the stuff is more than challenging! Guess there's a lot of takers so the site might be slow for a few days yet and looks like its now hitting their sales as well. Didn't they expect any increase in site traffic ...
Keep trying ...

Yeah, DownloadThemAll is quoting me 2hrs+ for some of these.

EVERYONE STOP DOWNLOADING... :tantrum: ( and let me finish plz ) :help:

michi_mak: No problems here, but I bought it last night (offer was open a couple of hours before the 13th) so maybe their pay server has gone a bit haywire.

How the heck do you install the soundsets, when all the content is downloaded?

The installation form has an "install from" field which can be changed from the DVD default to a directory containing the files, but seems hardwired to look for the DVD anyway. I can't get it to look at the hard drive, and the install aborts when I can't insert the dvd. :(

Post

To install the soundsets just run the Studio One application and drag & drop the soundset files on to the Start page. Studio One should then install them to the right places automagically.

Sorry about the servers being slow, we've had such a huge uptake on this deal that the servers have been getting completely hammered. We're working on adding more server capacity as we speak, so hopefully things will speed up again now if all goes well.

Ha 2 hrs .. that would be bliss! Currently listed as 10 hours for one of the files (1.8 GB) and there is no restore on the DL!!

m_m yeh I realised you were talking about buying but I'm guessing that the whole site is struggling at mo' - I purchased 2 days ago but still nowhere near getting the files necessary to run and certainly nowehere near worrying about installing them

Never mind, misread the post.

Okay, thanks! Now I seem to have everything except the tutorial videos and demo songs. Where can I find these?

I guess they're selling a lot of $20 copies. How is that all bundled I wonder for the download?

If I knew I was going straight through to Pro I'd probably be less inclined to purchase the Pro upgrade direct and download the content if (no idea, assume) you can just download the actual program installer file for Artist, which is about 50mb I think, and just install that, register it with the Artist code you get when you purchased, forget all about the bundled content for the short term, and just go buy the Pro update from a local retailer and install the content from CD when you return home.

A 1/2 hour trip to Guitar Center may be a better proposition than a 4 hour download.

A trip to Guitar Center might be better than a trip to the dentist but that's about it.

:hihi: Yeah, I use Sweetwater when I'm not in a hurry. Agreed...

Has anyone successfully installed Guitar Rig LE and EZDrummer Lite? How the hell did you do it? I have the installers on my desktop, but Studio one keeps telling me to insert a friggin DVD.
