Are y'all muthers runnin' two video monitors these days?

back on topic, one thing that has been frustrating for me in the trying to go 2 monitor era is lack of a reasonable VGA that has 2 DVI outputs. Usually for the fanless ones it's a DVI and a standard old vga

When I built this system there were many fanless choices for two DVI's but oddly enough that didn't work out (can you say sent it back THREE times ) Coincidence? I think not. They had heatsinks the size of buicks and I'm guessing the reason they were so unreliable is they just couldn't keep up.

Still, the 60 buck card I have now has worked well for a long time so I shouldn't bitch too much

I confess I've had a quiet chuckle over the opening scene with the spider - which makes the point right away about how "ruthless" the kidnappers are. Danny and Bette had some fun with the film. It was quite a success 25 years ago and rates 90% positive on Rottentomatoes.

Two X 24 inch LCD monitors.

I have the main monitor in landscape, with the second monitor in portrait to the left of the main monitor. Set up that way my nearfields are either side of both monitors and perfectly positioned so I'm sitting at the apex of the triangle.

I run Reason/Record, so the portrait monitor is just right for the rack and I have the mixer and piano roll on the main monitor. It works very well.

For all the other stuff on my PC like work etc having two monitors is much more efficient than using one monitor. Easy to compare two Word documents or have Access or Excel on one and Word on the other.

I couldn't go back.
