Not in all cases. Go to http://soundcloud.com/ruedirena/ and see the licenses of our tracks. If you don't know what it means just click on the license symbols on the right to the genre in the player window. As you will see you may do as you please as long as your remix bears the same license as the original track, is not used for commercial purposes and you mention the source RuediRena. 'bzur' for instance has got a different but similar CC-license on some of his tracks ...

thanks for this explicative post ruedirena . man, this is complicated! i thought we could do anything as long as we don't make profit for it, with all those people doing covers on youtube who obviously don't ask for permission.

i'll just post it to the creator. it was meant for him anyway.

Thx for the belated votes Stonail, but as u say wouldn't have changed the outcome.

As for song licenses on SoundCloud, i never really saw that option before, but quite useful that, must remember to set my tracks too.
