Thanks, megadeth, I can stay more calmly now!
Numanoid, I really want to set the price to $99, but I can't. Really sorry.

At least two weeks, and I think introduction must be expanded in time. I have updated the thread's head. And thanks for your words!audiosabre wrote:How long will the introduction offer last?

Yes, you're the only one with Tin ears..............izonin wrote:Hmm am I the only one who thinks that it sounds as bad as a 2002 Reaktor ensemble, while consuming 10 times more CPU than most commercial synths?

My immediate reaction was that it was also over priced as it is the developers first VST (I think?) and at that price it is competing against Zebra2 which is more powerful.jupiter8 wrote:Yeah and if he gave it away we all could use it,what's your point ?Numanoid wrote:I think the synth is overpriced at $199![]()
$99 would make it accessible to more users.
However, I do think it is a very good synth and I hope the developer is suucessful at whatever price he chooses because he has done good job and I hope to see him succeed

It would be wonderful if it stayed open till the mac version was available.sches wrote:...........

does the one license cover both platforms? I have a PC in my studio and a macbookpro as my portable studio, live rig. and I like to try to make them duplicates of each other... would the price allow me to use it on both, not simultaneously of course.

~200 patches. The differense between the full and demo version only in noise sample.juffi wrote:Hi i tried the demo, sounds cool especially the seq-sounds. how many patches are in the full version?
Guys, I will think more precisely about the price, but I can't promise.
Hi, zvenx! The signle license will cover all versions, and you could use it on any number of computers you have. MAC version will have its own introduction.

Kee-rhist that is sad. They gave you less than a day?
So someone must at least theorize out loud that ASSiGNs marketing services must be somewhat affordable these days.
Obviously, in a right world it is goddamn ridiculous for a small-time/first-time dev like yourself to only be allowed <48 hours to sell their work. I mean, that is sad.
That it has happened on day one is usually a sign of a one of three things: a really amazing bit of kit, a really over-priced bit of kit, or a very forward thinking dev.
So, either way, if you are selling any, congrats.

ok......thanks.
my two cents on pricing, without even really trying it..lol.. which may indicate how invalid that two cents are
...
I think 99 is just way too low..who are you competing with?
for whatever reasons, the ones that come to my mind are dune and helix which are both about 149.... and zebra 2 which is 199 with dinosaur discount making it 149....and zebra 2 has already established itself... so to me the sweet spot is $149...
rsp
edit: apparently dune is 139, but my suggested price is still the same.

Really nice synth! Sound is really clear. I have couple suggestions.
- Mousewheel support for knobs, at least they are not moving in my FL
- Double click knobs = reset to default value.
- Make different oversampling options for real time and export. This would save real time cpu-usage
- Some kinda "cpu saving mode". Perhaps option for 1x oversampling, as 2x seems to be default, when cpu-usage is naturally more higher
- Not whining about price, as synth sounds really good, but you could still check it. I'm sure if you price your synth more like 99-129$, you would get more sales than in 199$. Just my opinion.
Anyway, really good job. I hope you all the best!
EDIT,
This reverb sound good! I like it. One more FR
- bitcrusher fx
Is this bug or what? If I set FX's on the upper row, they are "bypassed". They are not working. If I set lower row, they works fine..?

Edit 2;
More FR
- Possibility to solo osc's
- Possibility to copy one osc settings to other osc.

Hi Dmitry. Congratulations on your synth, it looks really interesting and has a great sound from what I can tell from your web site. I love your Zebra bank, one of the best available and most interesting, so I'm really looking forward to your Diversion presets. I'm sure I'll be buying this when your Mac version is ready. In terms of price, I think you should charge according to what you feel is appropriate, not what others say, you're an extremely talented designer and this looks like a very flexible and sophisticatred instrument. Good luck with this.

btw, I realise Dmitry's native tongue isn't english.......but does anyone know what he means by fast synthesizer?
I assume he doesn't mean attack time? I think it is something related to cpu power?
might be helpful so he can correct the print on the website etc.

Maybe this means the developing time spent on it? He said 2 years.zvenx wrote:btw, I realise Dmitry's native tongue isn't english.......but does anyone know what he means by fast synthesizer?
