More "official" info on all that. Jon Hillman says there will be a deal for existing Pro users upgrading to the next thing...
How it all washes out against not doing that during the v1 sale, dunno. Now is the time to go to Pro, either for $199 or if upgrading from Artist for $99. There will be a deal on the other side for existing Pro users.

Will V2 have a bit more options to color the GUI ? A bit of eye candy can't be a bad thing, too much blue, can make me feel blue

The Melodyne integration looks good. I fear however that like the Cubase's integration of VariAudio (or whatever it is called) it will be limited to a single track at a time. It would be really cool if you could select multiple tracks (like say three BG vox) and have them all within the same Melodyne window thereby allowing harmony editing in real time. (Which of course you can do in the full Melodyne product but requires an export/import/export/import between Melodyne and your DAW.)LawrenceF wrote:They're starting to post some short vids on their channel. Looks like mostly stuff that was leaked already.

So there will be 3 versions: Artist, Producer and Professional. I wonder what the major differences between them will be.

So do existing Studio One Pro owners have the equivalent of Producer or Professional?summer2000 wrote:Thanks Lawrence.LawrenceF wrote:They're starting to post some short vids on their channel. Looks like mostly stuff that was leaked already.

They're gone now. Sorry, it must have been an error from whoever uploaded, them being public. I waited about an hour before posting it here after reading about it elsewhere (to see if they'd stay up) and I thought they were made public intentionally.
I guess not.
