I've checked again, you're right, there are horizontal as well as vertical knobs.

Maybe you could put the label above the knob/value, too? With the labels on top, I really like the horizontal knobs, too.

Post

Well, originally I wanted to put the labels above, but at the end it really looked bad :(. Also this takes less space.

New version looks beautiful. I like the separation of functions (General, Advanced, and Side-chain)! It's a lot clearer now. I also like that the side-chain knobs are grayed out when sc is disabled. That makes it a lot more clearer.

One thing to note, I'm getting loads of pops and clicks with this version as soon as I enable side-chain and route it in my host (Samp ProX). The previous version worked perfectly with sc routed and enabled. With the current version I've bumped my ASIO buffers all the way up and still get pops and crackles on the track that it's inserted on.

Love the automation read and write feature. I'm used to seeing automation data, so I find this really helpful to see what it's actually doing.

I had a few places where nothing was written after the first pass. There were just 2 really short spots about 2 seconds long where there was a straight line where there shouldn't be. A quick pass over the section fixed it. When I first listened back, it was obvious where the automation wasn't written.

This thing is shaping up to something amazing! Loving it!

Another quick note...

With the automation read/write buttons, it's hard to tell if they're enabled or disabled at a glance. I think this is important, especially the automation read button. I could see that causing all sorts of trouble if someone inadvertently had it set to read. My preference would be to make it look like it's illuminated when it's on or something like that.

Hmmm, you mean Samplitude Pro X ? I'll check it out. Do you see spikes in CPU?

It was in the middle of processing? Or it was just that once the automation wasn't doing anything?

Thank you for the Knobs 8)

Hi Vojtech,

looks nice, but i needed some time to understand the new gui. The easy effect of the first beta wasn't there anymore.
Lights around the knobs would help, which change when decreasing or increasing the parameters. But all work very well! Very nice plugin!

My demo time is over in three days and what can I do after that to try it more and more?

Thanks and greetings

Marek

Yeah, it was in the middle of processing, right in the middle of a very dynamic section of the lead vocal. I'll be sure to take screen-shots if it happens again.

As to your question above, yes, i'm using Samplitude ProX. It seems the poping and crackling has mostly gone away though. I wonder if it's because it was the same project that I had the initial beta loaded on? I still have to keep the ASIO buffer a bit higher with this latest version. The initial one ran fine on this large project at 128 samples. The lowest I can get now in the project is 256 samples, and I still get the occasional pop. Nothing else has changed in the session other than swapping the old for the new.

Git 'er done!

The new version (with the knobs) is crashing frequently in Reaperx64 (Win7), while the previous one was real stable.
I like what it does, it's very easy to tweak the vocals, I am very interested in this plugin.

It seems pretty stable here on Samp ProX 32 bit. I also have a reaper license, so I'll test the 64 bit version out in both reaper x64 and samp x64.

Really looking forward to being able to buy this plugin. I have only 5 days left on the demo, and I'm using it in a critical project. I guess I'd better render the tracks that it's on just in case it's not available 5 days from now.
