I'm looking at CutterTone to use in combo with this. I'm using Basslane placed after a widener now, and I love the sound I get. Basslane takes everything below a certain frequency you can specify and forces it to mono. Makes drums and bass sit well in a mix while letting the widener do its thing. But Basslane is an older (free) pluggy and may not play well on 64 bit win.

This one may not need Cuttertone directly, because that frequency knob lets you decide a limit frequency. Stereo image is untouched (mono) below that limit.
ThreeD and Cuttertone go together in a mix, though, on different tracks, you are right!
One for widening some ranges on some tracks, the other one for bass range width control (and for controlling the high frequency content, of course, with the acceleration limiter).
We really need to do some mixing videos with these...

That would be great. And I really appreciate your honesty (because maybe a few devs would be pushing both products)
The demos are delicious and reminded me of the Dimension Pro. Is this what you were going for?
Either way, looking forward to this.

My Italian is a little rusty... perhaps you meant "ready, sending upgrade info emails now"?quintosardo wrote:Ready, playing with it nowkbaccki wrote:... and roundtone v3... *cough*...osiris wrote:Either way, looking forward to this.

Sooo.....what happened to this little gem?
Any release date planned?
I am really a nerd when it comes to widening tool, stereo expanders etc. and this is on my purchase list since the thread got started.

Available now
Now it is not only a mono to stereo tool but stereo to stereo, too.
Contains several algorithms.
M->S prefix identifies mono to stereo algorithms, S->S prefix identifies stereo ones.
Everything is frequency based (acts above or below a given frequency).
