Atsuto the beta is causing huge CPU slow down without playing any audio.
As soon as I remove tranQuilizr from the session the problem goes.
Btw, I love this EQ and in some instances I prefer it Flux Epure.

Sorry FabFilter Q still wins in my book. I don't hear anything special here.

I won't presume to speak for the developer, but I'd be surprised if buying 4 consecutive year-long licenses would give you lifetime ownership. I personally like the idea of paying a small fee to use the fully functional plugin for a year. If nothing else beats it during that time, I can upgrade to the lifetime license for the same total cost. With most other plugins, you pay in full upfront, then something better comes along and you end up buying that also. Gets expensive.TheoM wrote:Even if i pay $25 per year, after 4 years when it his $100, does that mean i own a lifetime license so i don't have to pay everything up front? or is that not how you do it? this is something i would need an answer to also.
I think these are good questions that could affect a lot of users/potentials and i wonder how others feel about it, and i would also love to read any other thoughts on these three issues.
Let me say that I love this EQ. The sound and the GUI are top-notch in my book. If it weren't for the CPU hit, I'd be using it everywhere.
Cheers,
Eddie

I agree, the AOM limiter is my current favorite. I had been happily using Ozone 5, but the Invisible Limiter killed it, especially on rock tracks. To my ears it gives a beefy punch to the low end and preserves transients better than Ozone. Makes the track louder before distorting, too. And yes, the same licensing model applies. So, another no-brainer for me.xtrax wrote:Invisible limiter is a killler.
I never heard so transparent limiter before on 8x oversampling.Sounds better than Pro L.

I agree with TheoM... I'd love to see these additionsTheoM wrote:TheoM wrote:Hi there Atsuto, to answer your question, i mean, that each band let's the person choose what filter they are using. Instead of fixed bands from left to right, every single one allows choice between all the available filter types. That would make this almost perfect. I hope some day you also consider an analyser. You do realise that you have a world class product here right? You can compete with the big boys but you just need to polish it and i think my suggestions are the correct ones in this case.
TranQuilizer is a beautiful EQ that adds something special in the right places.

Chiming in on this. It's a really really nice EQ to me. Especially the AGC is almost a purchase reason on its own. Can't understand why that isn't standard on most plugs. First EQ that has got this, that actually works. A couple of others got AGC as well, but they don't really make the sound level stay the same.
The sound is very transparent. It's certainly up there next to Oxford, Pro-Q, GlissEQ and others. To the best of my sensibilities, I seem to discern a slightly "harder" tone than many others. But it's certainly no bad thing.
The GUI is way to large for my taste, text and knobs are small, and the spectrum view isn't of much help as it looks now. It's too fast, too low resolution, and the dB scale for the spectrum isn't defined. I don't care much for the Bandwith parameter, I'd rather prefer Q, but that's a small matter. I'm no beginner but I would also think the channel controls, the A/B/C options and quality settings seems imposing to someone who doesn't care for such details. Perhaps the GUI could be made smaller by hiding those away under a 'settings' menu or such.
I do have one problem in Reaper 4 with v 1.72 x64. Turning on/off either the lowcut or hicut sometimes crashes Reaper. And there are not many things in this world that manages to crash Reaper. Hopefully this is just a minor incompatibiliby that may be updated, but I thought I'd mention it if it isn't already heard of.
Great work still. Plz keep it up. I'm buying, and sending my dog on anyone who doesn't
