well the samples are compressed when stored with a good ratio (loseless of course)
And a full equipped 16 slot Phalanx with drum samples hardly takes more than 1-2MB of Sample size in the project file. So even when you have 100 copies of your song project file, this is less, than for instance a 24bit vocal track in your song takes

Does Phalanx have real-time time stretch, allowing loops to be previewed/played at host tempo?

Does it have pitch shifting capabilities independent of tempo?

no, since its really not made for loops at all, its a tool for oneshots / Drums-/kits / playable synths / crazy FX

We plan to make a dedicated loop sampler in the future

Thanks for the answer. I really like the idea of Phalanx, looks like the workflow will be really fast.

The single version looks perfect to drop into source slots in Maschine. Maschine and Phalanx could be a killer combo.

Is the factory content exclusive to Phalanx, or has it been used in other products?

its a mix of new stuff and a handselected "best of" selection of all 43 samplepacks, but the majority are new drums and presets

btw release of Phalanx is planned for tomorrow, we really try to manage it. Keep your fingers crossed

Killer Maschine, really. Some of the features are really awesome and the workflow for people like me, who are working a lot with samples, is very cool... Nice work, really...

The Loop section is very good, is there a way to save the wav with the loop points only and/or with a small envelope without any clicks? If yes, phalanx would be the ultimate loop machine for making new stuff...
