Wow. I mean, I put a lot of thought into the original specification for this plugin, and I know Bram spend a considerable amount of time and hard work turning it into a practical reality. I mean the fact that he made this possible at all is a mark of genius. I had almost convinced myself it couldn't be done.

I dont think either of us even considered that there'd be this much controversy. I just hope this doesnt spoil our hopes of selling the core algorithm to a company I cant mention (but they make one of the big-name DSP cards... :-o )

That answered my only remaining question Rabbyt - whether or not you'd be getting a cut when this thing obviously starts to sell. It's going to blow the whole DSP market out of the water !

Well hopefully they'll name them after John Cage- maybe 4'33'', 4'34'' etc ?

4'34".. darn, did I miss that? was that the 12" extended remix, or a dodgy stopwatch - you could never tell with Cage.. As an aside, did you ever hear the Penguin Cafe Orchestra tribute to him? Simon Jeffes composed the counterpoint melodies solely using CAGE always in that order, and the piano occasionally played the motif DEAD. It was called 'Cage Dead', and the original studio recording was 4'33" long.. It's actually a nice bit of music too. Shame Jeffes died.. sadly whilst we can blag the occasional 'H' in notation, I've never been able to stretch to a 'J', and 'S' is right out - so 'Jeffes Dead' will never be.

Alas.

However had it ever been written, I'm sure it would have sounded best thru' 'Anecho Pro' (as I have no doubt it will be shortened to).

'groing'? is that onomatopoeic? like the sound of a growth area on seeing two orange knobs?

What a strangeplace this is..

However, the term 'groing', I feel, has now passed into our communal vocabulary for that particular event...
