Waiting for K11 and 50% sale i will..
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

It would be nice if NI started a cumulative upgrade plan like fabfilter. This looks good, and I hope NI add more blocks, though I'm sure it won't be long before the user library has plenty. If it's not overly complicated, I may try to create a few myself. And maybe it will make reaktor less intimidating, and be the push needed to explore it beyond the user library.
I'll get this when it goes on sale, which means I can easily skip K11, unless of course it includes Absynth 6 or Massive 2, or something that makes it worthwhile.

Plus that's only 30 Blocks - in terms of lower level modules and macros it already has hundreds.EvilDragon wrote:loungepanda wrote:Reaktor 6 modules: 30

To be able to use Oscillot you need:
Oscillot 119
Standard: 559
M4L 249
Total = 927
Modules per dollar: 130/927 = 0,14
Reaktor can be used standalone or loaded up in a free VST player:
Modules per dollar: Reaktor 6: 30/199 = 0,15

They must have something special up their sleeve since they are releasing this before Komplete 11.

I can't help but think that we are going to see a full migration of Komplete and Maschine in a full blown DAW with NI total integration!loungepanda wrote:maschinelf wrote:It would be nice if NI started a cumulative upgrade plan like fabfilter. How does it make sense to have NI do a DAW and Maschine software at the same time. They are not apple.MFXxx wrote:I can't help but think that we are going to see a full migration of Komplete and Maschine in a full blown DAW with NI total integration!loungepanda wrote:maschinelf wrote:It would be nice if NI started a cumulative upgrade plan like fabfilter. I was listening to some of the examples - Did anyone notice that many of the ensembles are V2, like SineBeats2, BlueMatrix2 etc? I don't think those had the 2 in them before did they?

Could be that NI won't realise any more new Reaktor based instruments - instead they'll just provide ensembles consisting of new blocks. Disappointed to read that there's still no multi-core support. Interested to see whether optimisation has made much of a difference.
