That's what I meant, the file size difference between FLAC compression levels seems minimal, so one might as well pick the fastest option.

It's hard to say - on short files I was testing it it takes a second or so. There is a difference, but it's too short to measure. Maybe someone else will try with longer files (or slower computerNumanoid wrote:How much more time does FLAC 8 take than FLAC 0 ?
