Sorry if it's bad form to say this on a software forum(!), but I'll be happy to do an .akp mapping for Akai hardware samplers, if there is any interest for that.

I'd love to have these! :D

Hello people :)

I'm the lazy git taking care of the hosting and related stuff.

It has taken longer than expected to put the stuff online, I admit it, mostly due to laziness and finding inspiration in doing music after months of total lack of it...

I'll get it done asap, the only way to force myself to it is by committing to it publicly ;)

"It won't take long" =)

regards,

jmh

Hi! jmh

If you need a hand committing to it :D

Pop the files up onto my servers – send me the text describing the files and whatever graphics and I will sort out the rest (structure etc. my end while you get your sites and stuff coordinated for your project and sponsers) this way the files get out there asap.

I wonder how long it will take the KVR Stampede to bring their server to it's knees? Thirty thousand people all trying to download drum kits at the same time. Might be wise to accept offers from others to host the files as well. Would spread out the bandwidth demand. Or just send the kits to me and the rest of you can fight over them later. :D

We've done this. I think there's three mirrors right now.

But they need the files to work though

Zzzz ... huh? ... Heeey??! Did I hear 'Virus' somewhere? Yes, we need virus sounds!
Hardware is ok, software virus even better in the musical sense! Virus drums ... yummy
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

This issue of CM Mag has a disk full of synth samples – you might just find a virus sound there – though I have not looked yet.

Kingstone has been in touch – so keep your fingers crossed all might be cool
