They don't insist on a dongle; I've got it activated with host-based iLok.

This kind of proves the point of this thread - it's always good idea to try before buying. And you often need to try several times to make your mind up.

Interesting. It's not obvious from their website. But that still does not change things much. I just don't feel like supporting companies using the PACE cr@p. Though, in this case I probably would buy it at the similar price I got ACE. But no way am I going to give out serious money for plugins using iLok.

That's what I have been doing. PolyKB II Player gets plenty of use here. It's actually pretty tweakable and kind of lessens for me the need to get the full version.

I've wanted to try the Korg Legacy collection, but couldn't find a demo.

So they haven't gotten my money. Maybe that's a good thing?

You can demo all the synths from the Legacy Collection. As far as i remember, they work in demo mode, until you register/activate them. They should make that a bit more clear before you download it though.

Didn't have to register.

It installed and is good for 30 days. Can't believe I never saw that before.

They really need to make it more clear, i always thought they had no demos either.

Try before buy
