If i decide to paid $9 per month , the plugin is mine when the price (189) is reached?
Yes that is exactly how it works from my understanding and what a great way of getting to customers who don't like forking out the whole amount at once or simply can't, more like this please :)

perfect !! let's subscribe ! :D

Wonder how long till I have to rent the atmosphere I have to breathe (or the genetic mods to allow me to rent sunlight and metabolize through photovoltaic skin, say).

Sorry. I'm depressed. I like what I hear out of Serum. Demo is badass. Enjoy!

Wow! I'm completely impressed by this news!

I don't need Serum, but sure I'm jumping in just to support such smart and fair developer.

It has many advantages in my opinion:
- affordable for most everyone.
- almost ends the second hand market for it
- less pirated
- make the buyer use it more, because he/she is reminded every month for paying it (like it happened with me in WoW :hihi: )

Ok the last one is just a joke, but this is really fantastic news, and the great thing about it (as I understood) that no interest with such plan? Bravo Duda :tu:

Serum here I come :D
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Wow! This is really nice! I usually really don't like subscription stuff, but this really seems like a win-win situation! Really great stuff!

I really hope more devs will do this in the future!

Done!

I suggest a link in the front page in Xfer website, because I thought first I would find it there, but then I found the link in the first page of this thread.

Just a question, do i need to run splice in the background to be able to run Serum? How about installing it in my laptop also (in addition to my desktop), I think I need to follow the same steps in the laptop (installing Splice and ...etc). Sorry, too in hurry to read the instructions :hihi:

btw, who took my username? :x I ended with EnGeeMoon, like in Steam :hihi:

i don't tested it yet , but i think the splice tools create a temp auth file every month , and it reminds you 3 days before your new paiement....So i think it don't need to be run in the background , only use one time to create the auth files....

Ok, great. I already paid the first month and got it run in bitwig (full version) :D

I think I may go for it if constant web connection is not required to use the synth.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

I think that as I have plenty of plugins already and do not need a single new one it's time for a subscription plan where developers would pay me a monthly fee for me to take a look and use their plugins. I'd be ok with 20$ a month per plugin.
No signature here!

I also got it running in my laptop. Anyway, I haven't noticed any service running in the background. Well, even if there is, it runs smoothly without a problem ;)

Here is a snapshot of Serum (notice the "Plan Active" under the logo):

Serum uses the splice service
Is the service called: "Software Protection"?

Anyway, I have noticed, when I logged in Windows, the Splice icon flashed for a second and disappeared, so it might be checking or starting! I don't know. Anyway, I don't have any problem with it :)
