I am missing those in the list:
- Tone2 Icarus
- Tone2 Saurus 2
- Tone2 Nemesis
- Tone2 Rayblaster
- Tone2 Gladiator 2.5
- Synapse Audio The Legend
- Waldorf Nave
- Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V
- Xils Lab Syn'X 2
- Xils Lab PolyKB II
- Xils Lab Oxium
- Xils Lab XILS 3.2
- Xils Lab XILS 4
- PPG Wavegenerator
- PPG Wavemapper 2
- Waves Element 2.0
- Waves Codex
- UVI Falcon
and some more...
I own all those listed and they are far from being unknown ones.
If i would do such list i would also add a developer/company name (like in my list above) not just the pluin name but that's another story.
For some synths like e.g. GForce Oddity the latest version v2 so it should be Oddity 2 in the list.
ElctraX is called Electra 2 after the last major version upgrade (v2.1 to be precise).

Not as bad as, "here's my fav synth and oh btw I'm also selling this library for it..." lol.whyterabbyt wrote:Its the marketing opportunity of the year.Gamma-UT wrote:People are clearly into that Other synth: I'm totally getting that next week. Wish I'd heard about it before.

If you refer to Ingo - I think he was the only one to mention Xils in this tread- , he doesnt work for Xils. Factwhyterabbyt wrote:Its the marketing opportunity of the year.Gamma-UT wrote:People are clearly into that Other synth: I'm totally getting that next week. Wish I'd heard about it before.

He was a beta tester for many Xils-Lab instruments, as he did some beta testing for many other companies. A lot of people on KVR make beta testing for this or that company -I could name dozens of people here-, but not all benefit of your casual witch hunt of course... Just saying.
As for me, I dont work for, but collaborate with Xils-lab, as with other companies, and ...
I did not even mention them in this thread. Fact.
( I'm not going to ask you to understand the not so subtle difference between 'working for' and 'collaborating with', I know it's far beyond your understanding) But now that you mention them, yes, I use them, and a few others, more than any other synth mentioned in this poll. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to say it. Same with Waldorf Largo, or Arturia Synclavier etc.

I made a joking comment about the success of 'Other' as a choice in the poll. Sorry that that went way over your level of comprehension, even though it wasnt even slightly subtle.Lotuzia wrote:If you refer towhyterabbyt wrote:Its the marketing opportunity of the year.Gamma-UT wrote:People are clearly into that Other synth: I'm totally getting that next week. I'm certainly the only Sound Designer to post audio demos of soundbanks on KVR. Why don't you flame other people making similar things ? Usual double standard on Kvr . Anyway, I still think that audio examples, sound, music sometimes speaks more than words when it comes to synthesizersn, synthesis, etc. I can understand some people disliking that though, but it's not my problem.
(+ Of course, I did not say ; it's my favorite synth ... But as incorrect, and/or partial quoting, and putting words in the mouth of other people is the absolute rule for some uber-ethical posters here, I'm no more worried than that. Anyway, I make soundbanks, and it's in my sig. And well, that's all.)
