I'm feeling really disappointed with them and may just sell my UVI products.
when you say "nothing" do you mean no reply or no discount?

reason I ask is that your post here is well outside of UVI's office hours if they operate on the normal French working day.
I got a reply, they said $299.

I own Synth Anthology 2, Digital Synsations, Beatbox Anthology 2, UVS 3200.
I also own Falcon and Relayer.
I thought i'd they'd give me a better price.
I'm kind of surprised you didn't get at least another 50 off. 299 is still an extra 100 off but I got the same discount and own less than you.

In any case.. you could theoretically sell the licenses that are included in VV2 and use the funds towards it right? So long as you make more than 100 dollars on the license sales you'd be ahead. That is.. provided you want to spend 300 dollars on VV2.

I was hoping for a slightly larger discount too, but either way the tiny size of the GUI windows is making me reconsider uvi in general. Fantastic sounds though.

Thanks for the reply. I hear you about the size issue, i think they'll sort that out.
I've just written to them again with a link to this thread in the hope they may issue me a better discount.

Hmmm....I e-mailed them nearly 36 hours ago and haven't received any response yet.

I think it's a really good price since you don't have VV1 and just a couple of the included products. It's a LOT of instruments for just $299, anything less would be asking for too much in my opinion.

I'm surprised that they didn't offer you any extra discount beyond the automatic single product.

When i contacted support, I told them I had already purchased:

BEAT BOX ANTHOLOGY
BEATBOX ANTHOLOGY 2
STRING MACHINES
THE BEAST
VINTAGE LEGENDS
plus DIGITAL SYNSATIONS which was included with a korg keyboard

(I also have falcon - but I didn't mention that when I contacted them).

My original price was $299 from the "single product" crossgrade auto-price - support gave me an additional $100 discount code, meaning I paid $199 for the crossgrade.

Yep, in UVI's defense, I agree with this. I got an additional discount from them, but also owned significantly more products included in VV2.

The issue is that a person with just one included product gets the same $299 price as someone with a bunch of products.

Plus, if I've understood the comments by Olivier @ UVI earlier in this thread correctly, you can't resell any of the products that are included in VV2 even if you crossgrade with the just the single product discount:

Of course. We are only talking about VV1 or products included in VV2.

Yep. All products included in VV2.

I just wonder how many of them are out of tune. Thats the only thing stopping me from buying this.

Yep! I have one product that retails at 150 and a few others below this and I got the same price as simmo who owns quite more than this. It is baffling why he didn't get a better discount to me.

Yeah that is a bit of a bummer. Still again, it's not something I feel that I can complain about given the pricing. I personally would have made more money back that way than the upgrade cost me.
They have obviously put a lot of work and effort into these products and need to make that investment back.

In Simmo75's case it would be about $10 each for the additional products included in the vault. A fair price I think!

I doubt I'll hear back from UVI before Monday now.

How are you guys rating VV2?

The Obie pack is what I'm most interested in.

Yeah, Id like to know too. Are any of these synths out of tune like Synth Anthology II?
