No you were right. PEG (Pingable Envelope Generator) is kinda like Maths, but has more in common with Mutable's Tides. It is great at tempo syncd envelopes, being heavily biased toward rhythmic applications. 'Rampage' by Befaco (which has a VCV version) is functionally closer to Maths, but missing the center section of Maths. Maths is unique in its slew and logic functions. [2c]

Its not easy to locate a module like Maths, I dont even know if they have a comparable module. This is a problem with user created modules. I would like them to bring on emulations, rather than user created modules. Once VCV for DAW releases, its game over for everyone
Which modules have the same sound quality as Softube? I much prefer the workflow of VCV and their polyphony implementation. Currently, we can run SM as a VST in VCV so....
I think the mutable modules nail it in VCV as far as sound quality. Loop pop has a youtube video comparing Elements to its hardware counterpart

Guys and girls, do any of you remember what softube had for sales in last years black Friday regards softube modular? It's currently on sale at 65$ from 89$. Not sure if I'll do better than that on black Friday.

I'm pretty sure all of their own products got a discount including Modular. Many of the items were 50% off, and then they emailed people a 10% off code which got you 60% off total. Might be worth the risk waiting, just in case you can get it for $36. ;)
I do know last year they saved a couple items for ONLY Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While most of the others were on sale for a full week.

I'm curious if the 3rd party modules went on sale last Black Friday. Currently during Modular Month, they're all discounted around $10 off (-25%). The only ones selling cheaper are the Buchla and Softube items.
Would they do a Modular Month, then only 3 weeks after it ends sell the stuff even cheaper?
SW: Bitwig Studio 3, Studio One 5, Reason 11, Komplete 12
HW: Minilogue XD, TR-8S, 0-Coast, Bassline, Digitone, Digitakt, Jazzmaster
Pedals: Zen Delay, Black Hole Symmetry, Ottobit, Shigeharu, Tremotron, Dweller, Oblivion, Julianna, Rooms, Microcosm

Exactly what I'm thinking. I'm almost ready to buy some of the modules without even owning SM just cause they are on sale right now. I'll just buy SM on black Friday. Tricky decision.

Wish I had a list of last years Softube BF sales to compare.
