Would I need to load a sampled sound into a sampler (or into a synth that can resynthesize it), tuning it quickly via a .tun or an .scl file, what would you suggest? Not an instrument/synth, please, but rather really a sampler (or a synth with good resynthesis capabilities).

I used to have the old beloved Cameleon for this (the precursor of Camel Audio Alchemy), but it's 32 bit and now I can run it only through a "bridge" software. Besides, it resynthesizes samples, but it's not a real sampler, which I would prefer.

I'm on Mac.

(Edit, some minutes later:) I think I have found a first answer myself: Plogue Sforzando (or Garritan Aria Player, which is almost the same). It loads .scl files very well.

(Edit, some… months later:) I found a second answer myself: TAL-Sampler. This one loads .tun files very well.

I think these are probably the two best possibilities to use microtonal .tun or .scl files on a sampler for a Mac user today.
