Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

So what are you saying, 4k makes everything looks smaller?
Most of 4K problems in this thread comes from the fact people do not understand basic mathsBut what means you gain a 100% of screen space to work with...

Best of two worlds might be - use two 1080p monitors and run each one 1920x1080p as well.
You get a desktop that is 4k(3840p) wide and plenty extra space to place things, and nothing will be smaller.
I apologise not reading through all pages now on this - if already mentioned.

I have just ordered 32" 1080p monitor for a very good price. My old one is till working great (27" 1080p), so when needed, I will use the two. But mainly the new one for everyday usage and let my eyes thank me a lot when playing around Korg synths and Thor in Reason
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

A long time ago, I practiced with this thing they call 'the real world' so my neck muscles are used to it.Trancit wrote:Only the muscle ache in the neck from having to move the head all the time to be able to see everything on such a big Monitorwhyterabbyt wrote:... 40" 4K screens are definitely fine.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

But the real world hasn't been updated in a long time. Lots of daily repeating quests. Graphics still look pretty slick though.
